Santiago looks like a model from a magazine. they are not even using make up to make her look like a woman working at the police. she has make up on like she is ready for a show or a magazine shoot. Anne was never like this.

i think they will make her more funny. they need to.

They need to do something where she and Peralta have a suspect in the box and he's a dry, deadpan guy like Jim Halpert or Ben Wyatt, and he keeps interrupting the interrogation to make the same observations you make above. All the while Peralta is snickering and Santiago's trying to get the interrogation back on topic.

Finally got a chance to watch this and yeah i laughed pretty hard, might have a winner on our hands.

Goor: Andy Samberg and Chelsea Peretti went to kindergarten together. For real.

Goor: Seinfeld. It's so good and all the work has already been done.

Goor: Jake teams up with his high school chemistry teacher to become Brooklyn's leading meth manufacturer and dealer.

Goor: The idea that we will be able to see our children grow into adulthood.

TV Guide Magazine: With what show would you like to do a crossover episode?
Goor: The Super Bowl. While working security at the big game, Jake thinks it would be funny to put on Peyton Manning's uniform. Due to the mix up, he's forced to actually play in the game, sustaining a massive concussion and two complex fractures. On the plus side, millions of people will watch. On the down side, Andy Samberg will no longer be able to walk or do simple math.

TV Guide Magazine: How will your show change the face of TV as we know it?
Goor: Again, if you don't watch it, we will never see our families.

So today, we met one of Peralta's altar egos.

So is this show funny? I've been curious. I was really pulling for Samberg.

The pilot was decent. Not necessarily laugh out loud funny, but it had it's moments. This second episode was a pretty big step up.

This show is pretty funny, despite the mediocre lead in of "Dads."

Second ep... Still not feeling it. Samberg is a great comedian, but I am not laughing at Peralta's highjinks for some reason. I actually was interested when the story shifted to if he should bust the kid or not and his chemistry with Braugher was apparent when they are together but most everything else is falling flat for me.

Sadly, week two saw a dramatic dip in the ratings.

That was the case for all of FOX last night. Still doing better than it's **** lead-in, though. It's almost doing as good as New Girl, which is funny, again considering it's lead-in, it's competition and how the show that actually has New Girl as it's lead-in AND whipped out the "look at our huge guest star!" card with James Franco is doing the worst of the four.
