So The Wolverine reshoots was in Toronto and not Montreal?

They could be filming in or around the top section and are using the actual stadium below as base camp.

well, a normal x-men sequel uses to have all the background of the x-men movies... the whole school, the students, brotherhood members, other villains...

DOFP is one specific story combining two timelines. There is a difference in its concept.

It's the 4th film to feature the original cast. Not hard to to see why some would call it that. Plus The FC team are all the same members from X1, not different characters. FC is just a prequel to X1, not it's own series... as of now.

Sorry, meant X trilogy.

He's in X3 which is a sequel to X1 and 2. Making every FC member here already established in the original films. There are no new characters from FC being continued. This is all about the same characters.

He really is in a "dark place". I think this explains why it's only he and Beast. His accident look a hard blow to him, and perhaps he gave up on his dream of opening the school.
