I take we all know about this by now?

So Havok is back?

I thought this was going to be a different story as I thought the guy on the right was someone else.:p

But, back on topic. The tweet that I read on Lucas' twitter a few days ago would make a lot more sense if he were returning.

@lucastill

Last Day in USA for a while, packing and listening to @drivinncryin. The way it should be.
:eek:Is he back?!

Awesome!

Good call to bring him back.

Yep. I think that all but confirms it.

SOOOOO glad he's back. Havok was one of my favorite parts of First Class.

I wonder if there's a possibility Caleb Landry Jones will be back too? Yeah his casting would have been late in the game and AFTER he allegedly denied his involvement but Evan Peters', and apparently Till's, casting came late so, it could be happening.

I would make sense if both are back considering that the cast has still yet to be fully revealed.

Can someone tell me why X-Men:FC is considered such a Bond tribute/ripoff? I can see how its set in 1962 (the same year Dr. No was released) and the end credits are similar to Dr. No's lead credits, but what else is similar to Bond and XM:FC? I'm not being sarcastic here. I just don't see it. Can someone please explain it to me? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance

The score for the film is modeled on John Barry's music for the early Bond films.

Most the film is very 60s spy influenced. Vaughn rewatched all the old Bond films to get a vibe for it. From the villains to the locations and style it feels like those films. I thought Magento came across as a James Bond type character through the early parts of the film.

Don't get me wrong. I love XM:FC and X1 and X2 and I even Feel X3 and XMO:W are ok films. Not as good as the other 3 but entertaining on a sort of "not great but watchable films" level. I'm just a huge Bond fan (as well as X-Men) and I don't see why so many refer to XM:FC as a Bond tribute. With all this said I'm excited for The Wolverine and XM:DOFP. But I'm also looking forward to Thor:TDW, Red 2, Kickass 2, Lone Ranger, MOS, CA:TWS and GOTG. I guess I'm just an old geek! But I just don't get so many people saying XM:FC is a Bond homage.

It's not trying to be a rip offor be like the new Bond films. But it does have an early Bond vibe through the era, locations, Women, Style, music etc. 60's spy films def played influence.

Oh ok. The vibe doesn't really feel like '60s Bond to me, but that;s just my opinion. Thanks for the response.

I really hope that Lucas Till is back! Thats like 1/3 of the new characters from First Class that I wanted to comeback!

No problem, I know You Only Live Twice was mentioned by Vaughn and theres alot of interviews with him and Fassbender talking about the Bond influence. You should be able to find those on google if you want more info on what influence he took from those films.

So Havok is back?

I previously mentionedsomeone added Lucas till to DOP cast page at Wiki.
This shows that may not be an error.

So Havok may be back If this Is from DOFP set.

Also remember Lucas Till never said he wouldn't return like CLJ,Rose Byrne,
January Jones,and JF.

So, Havok is back?? I need more proof!! That is too good to be true! Is there anything on Singer's twitter about this?

EDIT: According to wiki he is filming!! That is great!

This Is defently from DOFP.The one In pic with Lucas also took pic with Bryan.

Like QUicksilver Bryan has some suprises In store for us.Well this Is the X-Men's response to the avengers.

for those who doudt It because Bryan didn't tweet It.He didn't tweet Daniel Cudmore,Booboo stewart,Adan Cato, and one playing Blink eather.Plus he hasn't revealed who Is
playing Nixon yet.

Havok's presence in the film raises some interesting story opportunities.

Thanks def 28. Wasn't trying to be antagonistic. Was just wondering. Thanks again

Well said.

I felt like Bryan has a limited vision. and he criminally underused Patrick Stewart in all three films. He found ways to disable him in each film, first movie had the Cerebro malfunction, 2nd film he's mind trapped by Stryker's son, and third film he dies. Him and Cyclops were both sabatoged in some manner in each film. I just don't trust him to do anything interesting. FC was a breath of fresh air. Fastbender was the best anti-hero I've ever seen. Really hoping the FC crew gets proper screen time.

Dear god...

Yes, the mutant who had the second highest amount of screentime in the first one was criminally underused. :whatever:

He was the wise old sage. He's not suppose to be there in the action.

I am actually happy that discussion has picked up on this thread; I can only imagine how it will grow when a trailer is released.

Whoever thought a gay porn star would reveal this info...

I may be a fan...

I am happy for all of the information; it is a nice filler until something substantive (a la trailer or poster) emerges.
