given that latest report which we will call a rumour is that there is a plan for a Magneto solo film i think its safe to say we have no idea what Fox have planned

for all we know it may be

2015 - X-force

2016 - Magneto movie or DeadPool Movie

I doubt it's 2015. Fox's movie for 2015 is FF, unless they decide to make two cbms.

Seeing as Days of Future presend came with the first appearance of Gambit, and Psylocke heavily involved, that is something many will welcome. However, there are many key elements that wouldn't fit, such as Nathan Grey and Rachel Summers. I think they can make it work, and I'm interested in seeing how they develop that.

That Magneto Solo film dates back to when they were going to use the X-Men Origins title for few films, which the Magneto film was retooled into First Class.

well if what has been said about the magneto film, which might end up like the Origin one and won't happen, but then again there won't be any decision made untill after DOFP anyway

but it means that there may not be any real X-men film for another 4 years or something, if they release fantastic 4, X-force,Magneto or deadpool

I'm shocked too, since I thought they melded the Magneto solo movie with FC already.

Unless something crazy happens in the past to young Magneto in DOFP, I'm not really interested in seeing a solo Magneto film...

Neither am I, more Nazi hunting? No thanks. There's not much they can show of him being a mutant terrorist if it's shown from his POV, because there's no real arc there. They can't really expand on his children thanks to Marvel, granted Quiksilver is in DoFP. I just don't see where they can go with him.

There is a chance that X-force will be AOA but with cable and a new team, someone already said that could be the case

that would be pretty epic. Original Cast + X-Force crossover.

Its a 1 billion movie in the waiting.

But 2016 feels a bit soon, in my opinion. Id do another solo movie before that, and then end AoA.

The X-Force movie has to be something in which the X-Men are taken out of commission and they have to step in. I don't see AoA being X-Force because that would just be another team movie of a different name. There are some clear distinguishing factors between how the X-Men and X-Force operate and we're going to need a movie and setting that showcases that.

That's true, but I think they should save that for a potential crossover movie *coughlikeAvengerscough* and introduce the X-Force in a style more in tune with doing their own thing.

They could Introduce Apocalpse at very end or post credit scene of DOFP similar to Thanos
of the avengers showing time travel has corrected some things of last Stand and setup
Apocalpse for future.X-Force would be Ideal to show Apocalpse as threat leading to
X-Men/X-force team up In next X-Men sequel.Maybe Involve the FF too since their movie IS coming In 2015.

I am really hoping after the wolverine they leave wolverine for X-Men sequels.
Once you have done the japanese saga you have done the best of his solo
stories.

They may scrap deadpool solo and just use him In X-Force.

The age of apocalypse Is too big event for one film.

I think it will be a few years before another X-men film is out, if the magneto stuff is true then thats gonna be 2016 probably
