Days of Future Past Bryan Singer Directing X-Men: Days of Future Past - Part 6

Ironic, I watch FC thinking "Bryan Singer would have done this better" :wow::oldrazz:

Haha same. Even though i agree with both of you. First class was...well first class. But I think Singer would have made it even better. (keeping in mind he hadn't made an x-film since 03 when times were still limited)

Now he can unleash the crazy.

I love it too but I find there's too many kind of corny moments and poor acting by Beast and Havok. I think the action of X2 was just as good as First Class.

I agree, and the most entertaining.
It certainly is. I hadn't really been into X-Men for awhile before seeing First Class. It took me by surprise and had me reading the comics again.

That's because Singer can't really shoot action to save his life.
Considering these are superhero films that is... troubling.

Nightcrawler White House scene begs to differ.

Also theres a X-Jet Tornado scene at the door.

Not to mention the Wolverine vs Deathstryke fight (the best in the series)

The action in FC reminded me of X1 and X2, thats how good it was, not some staged fake looking X3 crap.

its a big part of why I love First Class, because it melds so well with X2 etc

No when the Hellfire club attacked department X is superior to anything from X1 or X2.

True, although I believe that Nightcrawler attack was entirely second unit.

Well thats a full blown opinion and I totally respect that!

I disagree.

I haven't spent much time on these boards so I'd like to know what you guys think of Zack Snyder vs Bryan Singer?

Singer made X-Men on 75 million budget and X2 on 110 Million Budget.Vaughn got 140 or 160 million(depending on what figure Is right) for first Class. If Joss whedon had to make the avengers on his serenity budget the action would seem to be lacking too.

Well, he had a $270m budget on Superman Returns and it was a dying turd.

The action sequences in Superman Returns were good, like the saving Metropolis scene, airplane rescue, and the gatling gun battle where the bullet bounces off of his eye.

110mil in 2003 was not small money. It was quite big money actually.

But the action scenes in MOS were freaking awesome lol.
