Spoilers follow:

Anybody think there is deeper meaning to the reset words

As a reminder they were

Longing
Rusted
Furnace
Daybreak
Seventeen
Benign
Nine
Homecoming
One
Freight Car

Homecoming feels like a huge Easter Egg, but what about the others?
Do you think they changed from region to region like Cap's notebook in TWS?

They had to be chosen pretty specifically So I'm wondering why.

Freight Car: He fell from a freight car before Hydra catch him.

I think they are random and the SHOULD be random. The idea is these are not words easily strung together in a normal sentence thus there is less of a chance of accidental activation.

I would think for them to mean something for his programming they would need to mean something to him. However even if they were random to him, did the writers intend for them to be an easter egg for us?

I think they do mean something specifically to his character but are so random no one would "accidentally" activate him.

Like someone said the freight car seems relevant to how he fell. The numbers are essentially his birth year as far as the movie goes. Homecoming- spider man easter egg but also I could see that word being associated with his individual missions, once completed he should return home. Like a subliminal message within the program words. Furnace and longing are definitely ones I find more interesting. Pretty sure we will see them being discussed if and when he gets 'deprogrammed'. And I am almost now positive that Tony's memory tech that he showed at MIT will be used to deprogram him or at least play a part in. After seeing how mature Tony is in CW, until the final fight scene which I could understand anyone would flip out seeing their parents killed, I think Tony will be the one whom actually initiates contacting the other Avengers - like Steve- and proposes helping Bucky get under control. Once Tony has time to reflect he will come to the understanding the Bucky was a victim too and help him recover which will mend him and Steve's friendship. IMO

Well according to MCU wiki Bucky was born in 1917 so that might be the 17. March 10, 17 though so that rules out the numbers being his birthday.

9 & 1 are the remaining numbers. Could it be a date? September 1, or January 9?

Is 9 a reference to the fact that WS was movie #9 and #1 refers to TFA being first in the MCU timeline?

Is 17 a reference to the Black Panther movie where we might see him again (Black Panther could be 18 though depending on how you view Spider-man Homecoming)

The writers said it was used only in CW.
I think it will be T'Challa showing his side scientist working on it.

Interesting I did not hear that. What a wasted tech gadget! Then BP seems like the obvious choice too.

Someone suggested that this could help Bucky, they replied that it has not crossed their minds.
I read that this wouldn't be enough to help Bucky.
