Forgetting Giles, are we?
I thought he was accused of assault against a woman?
Wesley was only in 9 episodes of Buffy. He did almost all of his work for the franchise on Angel, with 100 episodes.
Probably not going to tell Allison Hannigan that she can't bring her husband...
There was also domestic abuse with Brendan.
Granted, I don't know why they let Boreanaz in.
Forgetting Giles, are we?
Faith and Drusilla were great characters but there are a lot of characters missing with more or about the same number of episodes, unless you include Angel
Not counting big bads or very minor but often visible characters (Oz's band, Initiative characters, Potentials, Glory's crew, etc)
Rupert Giles (121 episodes)
Riley Finn (31 episodes)
Jonathan Levinson (28 episodes)
Andrew Wells (26 episodes + 2 episodes of Angel)
Principal Snyder (19 episodes)
Warren Mears (16 episodes)
Harmony Kendall (15 episodes + 17 episodes of Angel)
Jenny Calendar (14 episodes)
Robin Wood (14 episodes)
Amy Madison (8 episodes)
Clem (8 episodes)
Darla (5 + 20 episodes of Angel)
Faith Lehane (20 episodes + 6 episodes of Angel)
Drusilla (17 episodes + 7 episodes of Angel)

.The story I read is he slept with a lot of women. Many of them female guest stars on the show but that is probably an exaggeration of the truth.
Nope. He's just a cheater.

I miss this show so much. I really want to see it again to see how it holds up, but just don't have the time these days.
Lol SMG trying to keep the peace online. Like girl! you've made it blatantly clear since it happened way back when that you HATED Spuffy. As Buffy you choose Angel and as Sarah you choose Angel.
That's pretty much why I was Team Spike too (I didn't hate Angel or anything, I just preferred Spike)I was always Team Spike because he was more witty and sarcastic than Angel. Also because as an evil, soulless vampire, he loved Buffy enough to fight to get his soul back. Something Angelus would never do.
It also helps that, I think, James is a better person than David.

Que?
Though I get your point, Spike's love did grow more organically. I'm still not quite happy with their reasoning however on what made Spike more capable of emotion and love even without a soul than Angelus.
From what I gathered their reasoning was that while Liam was reckless and irresponsible as a human, William was more sensitive and capable of deep feeling. Basically that William was the better person while the loss of a soul exasperated the worst in Liam.
Screw Angel and Spike. I loved Buffy and Riley

I don't mean organic as in believable as I never bought into it completely myself. Season 6 was probably the most realistic portrayal of their relationship for me in which you have a clearly depressed Buffy acting out her self loathing by giving herself over to the darkness ie Spike.
But the way they wrote their relationship they certainly wanted us to believe that it was more genuine and real than Bangel.
Buffy was unlikeable for large parts of season 6 which is not good considering she was the main character
Aye whatever season 6 did to the characters, season 7 didn't do a good enough job in helping them grow out of it. Says it all that Faith ultimately became one of the most mature and well rounded members of the gang.Yeah, season 6 not shying away from how ugly it was in some parts was certainly believable. My general issue with season 6 is that I can respect the fact that it wanted to drag the characters through the mud, and I even think it succeeded in some regards. "Death Things" is a legitimately great episode despite how ugly it was. But I think season 7 failed it. It didn't do a very good job at building the characters back up because it had so much on its plate, and season 6 suffers in hindsight.
The writers for the show were infamously divided on how they felt on Spuffy. For me it comes down to the actors: Gellar's friendship with Boreanaz and her investment in that romance comes through in the performance, so I had an easier time believing that romance. Whereas her dislike of those later storylines likewise came through, so I never bought that Buffy was genuinely in love with Spike no matter which lines they gave her to say.
