Now I think its pretty much safe to say they are the 2 best directors that Warner Bros has ever had. But IYO which take on Batman did you like better?

Lets keep it clean

I wouldn't trade in the existance of B'89 or TDK for the world. I chose "I love them both."

In general, I like Nolan better, but Burton's films hold such a high place in my heart so I wouldn't dare vote against them.

I voted I Love Them Both. TDK was by far the best of all four, but I found that Burton's 2 films better than BB. So since it was an uneven pick, I voted for the easy way out.

Nolan's.

I just like his movies better in general and when I go back and watch Batman 89 and Batman Returns... they seem overrated to me and not that good.

I like TDK the best overall but I'd rewatch Burton's 2 movies over BB anyday. So...I love them both...

Nolan's. Burton's Batman didn't stand up to the test of time, as far as I'm concernced. And I never cared for Batman Returns.

Not even that close...Nolan by far...I think...

TDK is the only film from Nolan's & any other version that I like a lot & consider in the same league as Returns & '89 but at the moment its still Burton for me, if Nolan can pull another Batman film in the same league as TDK then ask me again & you never know.

I know what you mean, Darkfly. It's a tie for me also. B'89/TDK are my favorites of the two runs, with BR and BB on my list of "Most Likely To Never Bother Watching Again."

Ahh, another Burton vs Nolan thread.

How refreshing..........:whatever:

I'll change that here pretty quick. And probably get Probationary Ban for it.

I love them both.

1: B'89/TDK tie
2. Batman Returns
3. Batman Begins

Can't . . . do it . . . head hurts . . .

DOES NOT COMPUTE

I Love them both. I absolutely love the visual style and storytelling of Tim Burton, but I also absolutely love the world that Nolan has created. From the consistent acting to the bigger picture of the story, just brilliant.

Nolan's are better films, but I loved many many moments in the Burton films.

It's a tie.

Burton's Batman is a masterpiece. BR was weak as a Batman movie.
Nolan's The Dark Knight is a masterpiece. BB was weak.

Im gonna have to go with Burton's two on this one. This is just how I imagine Batman when I think of him live action wise. While Nolan's films, especially TDK are great films, they just dont appeal to me all that much.

Nolan. I like the two Burton films, but the first Batman was too "let´s sell merchandising". The Prince soundtrack and some scenes bother me. Also, Nicholson wasn´t that great as Joker... I liked Batman Returns more because it have more of the artist´s vision and not the studio. Anyway, Nolan´s vision was based on the comics and works really good!

I like the tim burton old movies.
But i have to say,Nolans was just better.

i like them both but if i had to choose, i guess burtons. visually more interesting and i loved the darkness and character portrayels.
