ANYBODY WHO CAN PLAY GAMES ON HANDHELDS, CAN SURELY WATCH MOVIES ON ONE.........IT'S WAAAAY MORE PASSIVE THAN GAMING. BUT I GET YOUR POINT........THAT'S WHY I THINK HANDHELD GAMING IS ******ED AS WELL.

I don't mind gaming on handhelds....say for example, you have watery poop and are going to be stuck in the toilet for a while....I woulnd't mind playing Super Mario Bros, for example.

But to watch such a beautiful movie like, I dunno, Hellboy or Kill Bill, where you're going to get a cropped image and some more crappy stuff like that....uh uh, no dice

The PSP screen is really high quality so you'd be suprised at how good the UMD movies look. Oh well, making them so expensive didn't help things either.

Never understood why people would want to watch overpriced movies on a handheld VIDEO GAME system anyway. It's too bad Sony learned this lesson to late, cause they're about to make the same mistake with PS3, focusing more on being able to watch movies than playing video games on a video game system.

It just wasn't a good idea, but a lot of things are hit and miss. Handhelds could've gone the same reason if it were for a world of THWIP*'s, but thankfully people can accept gaming on a screen less than a 55" monitor.
