Which event/revelation will have the biggest ramifications on this show?

Organizations of a SHIELD-like nature can be restructured, re-funded, and even given new leadership easily if there is a need to counter a challenge (still looking at you Ten Rings, AIM, Scorpio and Hydra).


I think SHIELD's (Hydra's) sins being dumped onto the web are going to lead to the major plot device's and hugh problems for Coulson's 616 Team in the final episodes and will probably be the final key elements to Skye's origin story completion and her major threats against her and towards the conclusion of the need to resurrect Coulson (assuming he is more than just Fury's "good eye"). I think Coulson's story is what will get the cliffhanger season ending on.....

I'm more wondering how much of that information is actually Hydra secrets?

After all if they infiltrated SHIELD that much then it would be way too easy for some of those secrets to actually hurt them more well except for Baron Von Strucker or Baron Zemo...

well, Imho, all the 3 options will have the same impact on the show

The moles is the immediate impact for the next couple of episodes I think then the ramifications of SHIELD falling will probably be the final episodes of the season. The secrets being out for everyone to see may be a continuing problem the team face in S2 - like would the general public react against revelations and cause trouble.

Thing is Do we really know yet that Marvel IS following the books and SHIELD does really disband yet?

I mean it might be tonight it happens, I just haven't heard that they actually disband SHIELD it didn't seem they went that far in WS

The most recent episode seems to point clearly towards

SHIELD not being gone, just crippled and ineffective. SHIELD loyalists still control maybe half of their facilities, and it looks like the intent is to retake the other half.
