the first one actually creeps me out...like it's a mini sequel of Planet of the Apes
the second is rather...fun..

but honestly, neither make me want to get up and buy chocolate..so i deem them bad advertising

they don't really need to advertise chocolate, people want chocolate or they don't. what they are doing is keeping the name and purple of cadbury's in peoples minds, so when people go for chocolate they are more likely to go for cadbury's chocolate.
