Cage Back for Sequel?

I thought I heard somewhere that Cage doesn't do sequels....can anyone confirm that?

That being said, would you want him back? If not, or if he won't return, who would you want to see instead?

He said he'd be willing to do GR2, if the screenplay was good and interesting.

He has done at least one sequel: National Treasure 2.

The forum it´s burning ( get it? ) these days! It´s very hard t follow every thread, specially the spoilers ones, ´cause the movie opens on march 2nd here in Brasil.

But, just for small talking, IF Cage couldn´t return, how about Josh Holloway ( come on! Sawyer, of Lost! ).
He´s the natural born Johnny Blaze.
But Cage is cool, of course.

Since i first saw Lost, jeez, the image of Josh as JB doesn´t get out of my head. The guy is the definition of cool.
Southern accent and all.
But Cage is JB now.

Speaking of Josh Holloway, I think he would be a good Danny Ketch...did the Danny from the comics have blonde hair? I am not sure whether they intend to bring up Danny in any sequels though...

Well, considering how Johnny still has to fight Mephisto, I want to see Cage in the sequel, but I wouldn't mind him dropping for a third installment. It would give us room for Dan Ketch. I prefer to see Cage, I thought he played an awsome Johnny Blaze.

I think his screenplay comment is indicative of how he felt about the first one's. It could be a way to gain some scripting power, or at least give him some sort of creative control. He has the leverage now that the success of the first is being accredited to him.

I start to think that Cage ruin the script, because being a star and all, he did this horrible "sugestions" to the MSJ original script.
I really don´t like to say things like that about the movie of the character a love, but we fans must act to change things on the possible second movie. Change everything.
From cast to crew.
Maybe someone with a little talent to direct and written a good script?

forget even having a sequel, to make an actual good movie and have it be a sequel would be too much. they should just wait like 8,9 or 10 years even n then do a remake. itd most likely have to be mainly based on the 90s kale/ketch rider series.

at first i thought a movie based on the 90s rider would be hard cause itd take a couple of movies to explain the origin n crap , but if they had a series of movies they could do it. they could have scarecrow, blackout, deathwatch, lilith and her lilin, centurious, zarathos, and even blaze n whatnot. itd be awesome.

The last I heard, Cage was doing two more Ghost Rider movies, but I could be wrong. If he doesn't do Blaze again, I'll be really ticked off.

Wouldn't mind seeing Cage reprise the role of GR, but please leave Mendes out. Cannot act her way out of a paperbag.
