Take the Staten Island Ferry to Staten Island get off and come back on, it'll allow you to takes lots of pics of the Statue of Liberty and NYC Skyline and it costs only a few bucks, instead of taking a seperate ferry to the Statue of Liberty.

Do the Empire State Building because it's a staple for tourists.

Lastly, go under the Marriott Marquis Hotel to find TKTS Ticket Center. Enter at 46th Street. They sell Theatre Tickets for the day of at 25% to 50% off their price.

Tell him to walk the Brooklyn Bridge. I think it'd be an amazing experience for a first-timer.

Yep, and afterwards he can head to little Italy and grab a slice of Lombardi's Pizza and a scoop from the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory. :D

Depends on what you are in the mood for and how much you want to spend.

Lil high priced, the rotating restaurant at the Marriott in Time's Square, Molyvo's is a great Greek Restarant, and then there's O'Lunney's, nice Irish Place.

First 2 are kinda pricey, the last one is more mid scale.

I've eaten at Piasano on Mulberry Street in Lil Itlay.

what about battery parks, anything cool thier?

Battery Park near the entrance of the Staten Island & Libery Island Ferries?

I don't think there's much going on there aside from the park, Ferries, and like housing?

I may go New York later on in the year. Its two dollars to the pound so my money goes twice as far.
