I miss my SNES. I have a DS now and I'm always getting Advance games for it. A lot of them seem to be ports of SNES games. Like DKC 2.

they sell whole systems. they also sell this (I HAD to buy it) thing called a retro duo that plays nes/snes in one for 60$...it's awseome..

My NES died a glorious death years ago, but last Christmas I got the Gen-X Dual Station...plays NES and Genesis games.

How weird that a new system, in this age of massive technology has a expiration date (so to speak), but a 20 year old console can still work perfectly.

our Play N Trade closed down last month, luckily we still have a couple other small game stores that sell the classics. i didn't know that Play N Trade was a chain.

Yeah.

Well, I think it's because we expect too much out of our systems. Keep in mind that, in terms of demand, the NES is a very simplistic machine. All it has to do is play video games. Whereas the 360 needs to play games, and DVDs, and CDs, and connect to the internet, and run an OS, and manage files......

so, inspired by this thread, i looked around, and found something called Dingoo Digital A320. its a hand held console with built in emulators that can store 4gigs of ROMs. it has a USB port so you plug it into your computer and put all you're ROMs on it (NES, SNES, GENESIS, etc...). apparently it works very well. it also has extra features like video player, music player, radio player, voice recorder, etc....and you can get it all for like 75-100 bucks. it looks really nice. you can even plug it into your TV so you can play on a bigger screen.

Now that I live in the south and there is flea markets with all thsi kinds of stuff I decided to get a n64 and the original nes . i might get a sega also.
