Cameron Bright is Leech!!

Yes, both Psylocke ad Jean were models at one point.

But so was Callisto as I previously stated.

I'm looking forward to seeing him in X3. Leech is an interesting character, and this kid seems like a good choice for the part.

I have a feeling that at least part of Leech's role in the movie will be as the center of Alcatraz, so he is somehow put into a place or hooked into some machine that makes him neutralize all the mutant powers in the area and keep the rogue mutants from breaking loose.

Some more info from his message board.
Filming has started now and Cam goes to Victoria for
makeup and prothetics (spelling) fitting. He starts
fiming in 2 weeks and then goes on hold til November
to continue filming again. The whole script is
guarded so that is all I know about his filming days.
We will not see the script and wont know what he is
doing on the day of filming til possibly that day. It
is so secretive. We do know that Cam will be bald He
was hopping to be shaved for the film festival in
Sept. but they wont need him bald til November as the
first week they need him will be shot with hair.
Thats all I know.

Hmm... maybe they'll have a scene showing Leech discovering his mutancy? Changing from a normal-looking kid to a bald, green-skinned one with power leeching abilities?

To be quite honest... I thought about renting the two movies but I have heard that leech wasn't in them and I could get more information from all of you. As for xavier's school... well lets just say that I must have been more into Barbies and Jem than x-men. lol (I know, pretty sad eh?!)

i just cant accept that you wouldnt have watched the movies if you've had all these weeks to research for your son. i hope you're telling the truth, and good luck to your son if you are.

woo hoo! we have artie and leech now and marvel already did man-thing so all we need is the resurection of Howard the Duck and we can have the Daydreamers spinoff movie...

...

...

Or maybe not.

In reality, this could be a decent addition and only furthers my belief that the plotline will revolve around a black ops govt scenario to use mutants against as weapons of war.

We haven't had Artie yet.

The kid in X2 was not the Artie that's Leech's friend

He has been very creepy in the roles I've seen him in

Now picture yourself asleep at night, and to awaken and see this staring at you.

Its interesting to see that we each new announcement that the much-debated and authenticity-denied AICN script becomes more and more correct. I haven't seen anything deviate from it.

Don't get me wrong, I think there will be some things that are a little different, but I don't think its as drastic a difference as the producers and writers are trying to make it seem.

As far as Leech goes, I like the character and I like the casting. And I guess Arad wasn't being misleading when he said that there would be a lot of mutant characters in this film because X3 is starting to load them up.

If Gambit is in it and he seduces Rogue, maybe they could somehow figure out a non creepy way of him and Rogue having a good night by having Leech sleeping in the next room. I've sort of had different ideas of some variation of that.

Or they could just stuff him under the bed...

Leech: Can I come out now? It's cold down here...

Rogue: Mmmm...It's pretty hot up here! Stay down there shugah!

Leech: Well can you at least stop bouncing up and down so damn much? The bed is knocking down on my bulbous green head!

Gambit: Where's de fun in dat, hommes? Coochie Coochie Coo!

Rogue: Tee-hee!

Leech: Seriously though, I don't think this bed was meant to support so much weight and motion up there. I don't mean to be a worrywart or anything but the legs on this thing look like they're buckling under all the pressure and that at any second it could--

*Crash!!!SpLAT!!!*

Rogue: Leech! You alright down there, shug? *no reply* Remy, I think something happened to--EEP!

*Gambit's getting sucked dry by Rogue's restarted powers*

... Damn, I should be writing this movie! :)

^ ROFLMAO!

Poor Leech.

On the subject though. Gambit and Rogue haven't gotten it on more because they're either stupid or too damn lazy (I know, I know, it's the writers). I mean, with all the mutant power nullifying technology around how could they not have kept something to use for such an occasion? Most of their foes, including the Genoshans, the Sentinels and even Magneto, have been able to use technology to turn off the X-Men's powers. It's inexcusable that nobody in the X-Mansion has even thought of getting Rogue a collar or bracelet that will do that for her when she wants to be able to touch somebody, especially when they have the likes of Forge, Kitty and Beast around (plus I think one of the new students is also a technical genius).

Oh well. Another example of poor editorial pressence and lazy writing.

Actually bring up an interesting point there, Endeavor. What do you think Rogue's reaction will be when she finds out about this kid's existence? Perhaps she'll want to be his friend mostly for the purpose of his nullification powers and realize it's kind of selfish. Maybe she's the one who breaks him out of the Mutant Prison.

Hmm, yeah, I wonder how Rogue will react to his existence in the movie. There are lots of cool interaction possibilities where Leech is concerned.
For all we know he could be instrumental in helping power down Dark Phoenix.

Woah. Never thought of it like that. You might have just spoiled some plot details! :D :o :p

If Morlocks are essentially confirmed, what other characters can we assume are in, at least in cameo form? Marrow?? :D

I think Marrow would work great for the films...as long as she isn't with the X-Men team :p I think her x-ray was up in X2, and in the X2 novel she had a scene when Xavier's cerebro was targeting the mutants, or something
