I've been doing some nostalgic research into old gaming Kickstarters, and it seems that companies like Ouya, Game Stick, Wikipad, MadCatz, and to a point Nvidia saw potential in Android becoming some form of gaming platform. But as we have seen most game developers are of the mobile variety for Android and those products were mainly seen as smartphones for your television. I'm not sure if it's entirely possible, but I think it may if marketed correctly. I think Ouya didn't market themselves correctly as a full on indie platform (that and the CEO wasn't exactly the most eloquent speaker) as it seemed they wanted to attract the Shovel Knights, Limbos, and Fezes of the indie community. Just wanted ask this question to get your opinions.

fantastic device if you're into emulation or arcade games. But for me the GameStick was a much worse kickstarter.
