Now that she can regrow limbs, could she survive it? I mean, could her head grow a new body, or body grow a new head?

Probably the only way to kill her is via decap, like it is for most immortals or beings that can regrow.

Hmm, this is a good question. Since her power like all the other Heroes stems from the brain maybe. I think the only way to really kill Claire would be too permanently damage her brain.

Either way, Wes will be there to watch what happens. :ninja:

West needs to die...

Dude that guy is creepy as ****. Like, psycho-stalker crazy.

ya as long as her brain is instact her entire body would probably regrow.

Without the brain being attached to the spine, lungs and heart, it would die, thus Claire's power wouldn't work and she would die.

I'm betting that she could also starve to death, die of dehydration or suffocate in the vacuum of space.

Yeah, but sylar uses the brains that arent attatched to the spine. The powers still work, right?

she was killed in the future when Sylar cutted her head so yes, she can die and that time when she had that piece of wood in her head shows her powers are in her brain section, damage it and she can't heal

LOL. cutted.

Well, the jury is still out on exactly how Sylar duplicates people's powers after cutting their heads open. It could just be part of Sylar's own unique power that enables him to copy the power from an otherwise dead brain. We still don't know yet.

no.

i think a couple of the writers suggested/implied that Sylar ingests his victims' brains.

I don't think that Sylar literally uses the brain, and takes a chunk, and puts it in his head.

Rather, I think Sylar looks at how someones brain is working... seeing that that is his original power: to 'see' how things work. He must therefore remove the packaging before being able to see how a godsend's brain works

Seeing it works and making it work in himself are completely separate things. It is strongly suggested that these abilities are genetic. Sylar would either have to change his genes, unlock a latent ability, or siphon a power (possibly even like Peter). It is also inferred that the brain is the source of the power, examples are Peter's and Claire's head injuries.

She is able to regrow her limbs only just like lizards do.. decapitate her and she will surely die.

no brain no power.. y'all saw when the tree stump was blockin the stem from reacting and her from healing.. so no she couldnt

I think the only sure way to kill her would be to destroy the brain, which is what Sylar would have done in the future episode. If her head was cut off, but the brain left undamaged, she may grow a new body. But I wonder if her head could be re-attached just by placing it on the neck.

I think that if her head was cut off, then placed back on her shoulders, it would reattach itself. But I don't think she would grow a new body.

One thing that bothered be about Claire and Peter's death was that they where dead for a fairly long time. If the brain was pierced and the object immediately removed, I could see it making sense, but Claire and Peter where dead for some time. The brain should have stayed dead.

As long as Claire's brainstem is clear, she will regrow any missing parts of her body from the brain outwards. The only way to keep her from regenerating (yes, her whole body) would be to puncture the base of her brain and LEAVE the object in there. Otherwise, she'll keep on coming.

If she can regrow a toe, bone included... what is it that she can't regrow?
