I think one of the reasons that Heroes did so well. Was because it didn't really have any competition.

Well that is all going to change. Because Bauer is back! Who here is going to keep watching Hereos. Or switch back over to 24?

Always a Hero. 24 is just getting way old.. We get it, you kill alot in 1 day.. Heroes is always gonna be my pick.

With the way 24 started off I think 24 is going to wini n the ratings. Its not going to stop me from watching both anyway. I see it as a great Monday Night. 24, Heroes, Prison Break, Monday Night Raw!

I'm very glad I have a dual tuner because I don't think I'd be able to make a decision between the two. Especially with the way 24 started tonight, looks like it's gonna be different this season, with a broken down Jack Bauer.

Luckily, I'll watch both thanks to internet magic. But in all honesty, 24 is the best thing to happen to TV in a long time. It's coming off its best season critically and commercially. And I just saw the premiere.... AWESOME.

Heroes has really cheap dialogue and obvious foreshadowing... 24 seems to think their audience is a lot smarter. Plus I suspect the Heroes and their powers will get tired quick, or become way to unbelieveable.

I thought the choice would have been tough, but it's not.

And I think that will be the trend. People coming off Monday night football would rather start a series fresh than get caught halfway through. Most likely, Heroes will move to Sundays (If they're smart).

ALways a Hero!!! I have a DVR plus there are five televisions in my house but interest in 24 in this household peaked during Season 3 then dropped off into a bottomless pit.

24 sucks. Heroes doesn't. Therefore, Heroes wins.:up::up:

I agree. I just starting watching 24 on A&E, & I love it! This show takes alot of stereotypes, & turns it on its head. While Hereoes. Well I think there stereo types speak for themselves. Hereoes isn't a bad show. It just isn't a good show either it is just:dry: .

Last tv show that got my attention was Quantum Leap, and that was quite a while ago.

I hear 24 is awesome, but I'm like 5 or 6 years late, so I'll go DVD on it.

Heroes ftw.

Why do people think it's one or the other and why do some assume that everyone watches 24? I only watched two shows during its first season. i can't stand the show. Plus, we live in a world of TIVO now. people watch one and record the other, and TIVOed programs are included in ratings.

24 is an incredibly well written show.
Heroes is too.

I'll use my DVR and not choose. :)

I download both so it doesn't really matter when they are on

it's not like you HAVE to watch one or the other

it's called a VCR, a DVR, TiVo, re-runs....etc etc

I dont like either, but i think the Superhero trend will die out and Heros wont surive.:sym:

They really should flip Heroes and Studio 60's time slot. Heroes and 24 probably have much of the same audience, while I don't think there'd be as much crossover between Studio 60 and 24, maybe a earlier time slot would help Studio 60 in the ratings.

Both are fantastic. I'll watch Heroes and watch the replay of 24 later.

I just started watching 24 with the season premiere over the last two days. I'm kinda hooked. I'm hoping NBC still keeps Heroes episodes available to watch at their website or continues to offer replays on SciFi. If not, I'll have to got he piracy route.

It's a tough call for me since I love both shows. I say 24.

But my friends at work will be talking about Heroes on Tuesdays, so I'll have to watch that and record 24.

I was going to devote more time to Heros because it was in competition with same thing else prior to 24,I can't think what it was at the moment. But now that 24 is back I'm totally hooked. Hell, I watched Sundays show quite a few times and I'll be watching tonight's show a few times before next week. :yay:
I'll watch Heros on box sets.
