I don't know if this was discussed before but I think there should be a new rule on posting Hi Res pics. Any images that are over 1000 pixels should be posted in thumbnail form. It really takes a toll on my browser when there are multiple HQ pics posted in one page.

I like this idea. I'd love to see any image that's too big automatically resized to something like 400x400 or 500x500 (whatever maintains the proper ratio of course).

EXCELSIOR used to say about keeping the pics in the 9000x1000 brackett, that is easy to do with a resizer like FastSone.
