Can Iron Man be redeemed?

I actually just am going to say that's WOEFULLY out of character for Stark. I'd like to think that Iron Man is just a suit of armor that Maria Hill cooked up. I can accept every aspect of Civil War but that one.

Actually, most of Stark's actions throughout Civil War could be percieved as out of character. Though they CAN be thought of as in character, if the entire character of Stark was reviewed closely enough outside of Civil War.

I think he can be redeemed because marvel's celarly going for a "he's not himself/under someone elses control" type of vibe here. Once he shakes it off he'll still be a *****e but he'll go back to being the *****e we all know and love.

Let me rephrase my statement. Jessica, who's been lying pretty much the entire time she's been a character in the Marvel Universe since she's been with Hydra the entire time, made a HUGE lie (Tony's was relatively small, though I'm sure you and others will disagree) about more than one thing to her fellow Avengers who trusted her. Her lies could've had people killed, say, the Avengers. Jessica is in her situation by choice more or less. She's shown that she could drop off of SHIELD'S radar, and come back when she so desires. Was kidnapped out of a SHIELD carrier, and snuck back into the country, when Tony undoubtedly would've been looking for her. A master Hydra and SHIELD agent, she was taught to lie on levels that most people can't even concieve of. So if she so decided to just go legit, especially with these friends of hers that so much want to help her, she decides to play the double gambit.

So if we're playing this "Who lies more?" it's not Tony.

So turn your selective eye on the group you support and then come after Tony, if you please.

Nah, BrainWilly started a different game. I never compared Tony to other people, since it's really pointless in the end, and characters on both sides are worse than either Jessica or Tony.
