Comics Can someone please explain to me the dark Pheonix and Age of Apocalypse story arcs?

It's a hell of a lot easier than me typing out the information myself, especially since I have my own interpretation of Jean's connection to the Phoenix that may or may not be canon.

Well thats where i went before actually posting the topic and since i have never really read the comics its hard to tell whats what. It looks as though if there are several different continuities which is why i asked someone to try and summarize, or if not even summaize tell me what those arcs are about.

The Wiki pages summarizes each of them especially AoA VERY well. Trust us, its alot easier reading that than expecting someone here to summarize them for you. Plus it would take a while and Im not sure people would really have the patience for that since its already written up out there

If you're strictly interested in the Dark Phoenix Saga, only read the synopsis portion of the Wikipedia entry. The rest is extra information and further debate regarding the Jean Grey/Phoenix relationship that isn't contained within the original telling of the Dark Phoenix Saga.

As for the original Age of Apocalypse storyline, you should probably just read the Wikipedia entry until you reach the "Characters and Affiliations" section. That should give you a good breakdown of the story.
