Can we help a concerned mother?

I saw this post on another board and wondered if the hype could help this poor woman hypothetically of course. The hype the freat think tank that it is, with so many life experts on it, I am sure could offer excellent advice. Thoughts fellow hypesters?

This problem is worrying me a lot, so I will explain it here.
My 16-year-old son is dating a 54-year-old grandmother-of-three - and the age gap is 38 years between them.

I am worried about him.

They are talking of marriage and have got engaged now.

When my son is 40, she will be 78. How many 40-year-old men like the idea of a wife who is almost 80???

Can anyone help me here, I am really worried for my son.

Sounds like the kid watches too much Harold and Maude. Anyway, I don't see how she's unable to stop her son from marrying that old broad. Has she done anything besides post on a thread about it?

Okay Whirly, I got ideas on how she can dissuade her son:
Bribe him with money
Bribe a hot 16-year old girl to show interest in him causing him to forget that old broad.
Or show him what she'll look like in 14 yrs when he's 30 by using age-enhancing technology.
