The non-showering, walmart-shopping, too-fat-to-wipe-their-ass, sex-hating, extremist-feminists believe that drinking under the age of 21 is horrifying, and that anyone who does is immediately considered an alcoholic.

Example: Miss USA. She had a couple drinks, next thing you know she HAS to be checked into rehab. For what? Having a couple drinks? Get real. How is a 21 year old different from an 18 year old? She's old enough to go to jail and to pay taxes, and pay for private insurance, yet not old enough to ingest an alcoholic beverage? For crying out loud, shes not even a functioning member of society. She looks good, and that's all she will accomplish, aside from being a figurehead for some cause. And even then the only reason she's doing it is because she looks good. So why is everyone being so hard on her?

Your drinking laws are dumb. Your government needs to pull their head out their ass.

I live in Canada. The drinking age is 18 here. And legally in Manitoba, if youre under age and youre at a restaurant with your parents, you can have as much beer as you can afford. The cops don't even care if you're drinking underage either. As long as you show the cops respect when you're drunk and don't cause any trouble.

I've been drinking since I was 12, my parents have approved of it since I was 16 (as long as I don't drive, and I'm 17 now), and I've had 3 experiences with the cops. Each time I was only given a warning to leave and to call a cab. Never been in real trouble with the coppers.

My point: F*UCK OFF WITH THE DRINKING LAWS. REHAB IS A JOKE. NOBODY BUT LOSERS CARE ABOUT UNDERAGE DRINKING.

The price of alcohol in Manitoba was raised because someone died of alcohol poisoning back when drinks were $1.25 in 2000. So some people seem to care. If you drink responsible that's fine. But a lot of people don't.

Where the is the law that minors can drink with their parents in Manitoba? Outside Winnipeg, the province is pretty religious and only recently have towns allowed alcohol sold at restaurants.
