It seems as thought they are introducing characters that should not be introduced until later in clarks life.

Was'nt kara in highschool when clark was at the daily planet and had established himself as sup.

I'm not sure bringing her in is such a great idea yet, but it's silly to obsess about how she's different than the comics because no characters they've brought in from the comics are completely like they are in canon.

Smallville is developing its own canon and it's its own thing. They always put a different spin on the people and I usually like the results.

Yeah, she'll be different but so what?

Either you like the show and its characters as presented or you go off and watch something else on Thursdays at 8.

Its it's own beginning.

Its not a prequel to Superman but a contemporary reimagining of it; which is why characters from Superman's future appear in Smallville's present.

Every non-comic interpetation of any superhero changes things to suit their own story.

Is Batman Begins really Batman when Ra isn't immortal?

Is Spider-Man really Spider-Man since Uncle Ben was killed in the street instead of at home?

Is X-men really X-Men because they wear all black uniforms instead of yellow spandex?

They never said Ras wasnt immortal in Begins. They just didnt want to show it either way.

YES, we can. Watch closely.

This is Superman's beginnings!

See?

Well, he is "Superman", and it's dealing with the BEGINNING portion of his journey as a hero. So I guess you'd have to come to your own conclusion after careful analysis and evaluation.:oldrazz: :woot:
