Can we return these DVD's if they do not come with 21 deleted scenes?

I want to buy 2 and check both. Do people know what the return policy regarding DVD's is? Is it up to the store, or can we bring it up with FOX?

where did you buy it from jedi?

Generally no, you can exchange them for the same title only if open. If left un-opened then yes you can return them. I worked at Best Buy and have friends at circuit city as well as target and they all have the same policy.

I expect that Fox Home Video will release an official statement soon regarding the whole mess. Until then, I would check with the individual store before you buy.

I got the Stan Lee collector's edition from Walmart and it doesn't have the 20-odd scenes. I think it might be a matter of which version you have, perhaps, rather than where you got it.

i wound up gettng the collectors edition bc the packaging is SO nice (much better then it looks on the net) and the comic is pretty decent. I wont know how many deleted scenes i have until i get home though.

Yeah, I like how the front part opens up. Very cool.

Question for those with 21 Deleted Scenes which version did you get regular 1 disc, or the Collectors Edition with Comic, or Box Set. Maybe that will help narrow down the search if those versions are the same

Worthy said he had the standard dvd release and someone else said they got the trilogy... so I am not sure it is going to be that easy :(

What I want to know is, are the cover of X1 and X2 different in the trilogy than those that were released separate?

the collectors editions packagaing is better then i thought, as is the comic (well the old comics are cool to have), the way the front opens to reveal the group shot is awesome, that would make a great poster! i also like the way the book and dvd sit in the back of the case.

my one complaint... the plastic slip case is flimsy and doesn't stay on the box nice

im curious as to what is in the trilogy set also, considering it isn't much more money in some stores

I'm tempted to toss the plastic slip case. I can't get the ugly circle sticker off the bottom without making it uglier.

the borders stickers came right off, rip them off and use rubbing alcohol to get rid of the leftover glue

It is a flimsy slipcase, but I still like it.

As for who's gotten what, here's what I know:

Worthy got the regular edition, 21 scenes. Nell got the regular edition as well, but only got 10 scenes. I got the collector's edition with 21 scenes. So no pattern yet. I haven't heard any trilogy reports.

Which edition has fold-out packaging showing all the mutants standing on a landscape?

I suggest if you don't have all 21 deleted scenes, just return it then try buying the dvd at a different store.

i got the regular version at target and it has all 21 deleted scenes.

Ya most places have a new policy(most recently Wal-mart) that if it is already opened, you can only exchange the item for something of the same price.

So you could always just keep going back and exchaning until you find what you want with the 21 delete scenes...

Or you could just sell one to blockbuster or someting and use some of the money towards another one..

ARGH...mine is still on it's way...should be here tomorrow.

I got the WalMart 2-pack but I haven't opened it yet so I'll look forward to know if mine has 10 or 21 deleted scenes.
