GOTHIC had good actors but the scripts lacked any decent character arcs.
Oh, and what's the joke about "the war on Chuck Lorre?" I went a few contitinuations back but couldn't find it.
Reign to End After 4 Seasons on The CW
‘Libby & Malcolm’ Comedy Starring Felicity Huffman & Courtney Vance Gets ABC Pilot Order
I'm guessing he's become the bane of tired sitcoms that don't know when to quit as he was producer of Two & A Half Men and of course the brainless show that knows no end in sight, The Big Bang Theory.
Salem Canceled: WGN America Witch Series to End After Season 3
Impastor's also been cancelled.
He does know how to keep eyes glued to the set year after year.
Grace Under Fire - 5 years
Dharma & Greg - 5 years
Two and a Half Men - 12 years
Mike and Molly - 5 years
The Big Bang Theory - 10 years and counting
Mom - 3 years so far.
I actually enjoy that show. Marilyn Manson is awesome on there.
How has McGyver gotten a full season pick up?
I hope Lethal Weapon gets a second season, and Timeless too.
What is Designated Survivor like? Is it anything like Madam Secretary (which I watch)? Or is it more like Agent X, or like that Katherine Hiegel presidential series which was cancelled after only half a season?
Lethal Weapon is pretty much a lock at this point for a second season.
I can't believe there was a show called Impastor.
The Honeymooners Reboot Eyed at CBS
Remake of a beloved piece of television history + CBS's current comedic sensibilities = HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHANO.
there IS a show called Impastor
and its hilarious
**** no... ... I'm getting tired of all these ****ing remakes... think of something ORIGINAL, ffs, and stop falling back on legendary classics...
We're on a forum celebrating franchises that are at least 3 movies deep, have likely been rebooted once or twice, and are based on comics going back anywhere from 50-80 years. I don't harp too much on originality and don't really get those that do.
My main issue is that they're taking something that could very possibly be terrible (remake of a TV classic) and making it a certainty (network with a God AWFUL comedy brand).
No comedic threats of domestic violence = not my Honeymooners
They're going to do a "Straight to the Moon" at the end of the pilot and open episode 2 with him in jail.
How about this?
That actually seems more interesting to me, because it's almost like he intends it to be like a play being performed by a new company of actors. Plus, it's short-term, rather than potentially ongoing.
Id like to see someone take a shot at 'Bewitched' in that context
And aside from watching TBBT sporadically I've never seen or cared for any of the other shows.
same here... I ONLY watch the Bang every so often having dinner and that's IT... F**K Lorre's s**t... that's all it is...
But the deal is a lot of people did. Enough that it made economic sense for the networks to keep producing them year after year and greenlight Lorre into making more of them.
He knows how to make shows lots of other people want to watch.
Loads of people turn out for The Big Bang Theory while Happy Endings barely scraped by for three seasons. Y'all are trash.
