:wow:According to the new footage from comiccon General Ross mentions to Blonsky about a supersoldier program in WW II! This obviously a reference to CAPT AMERICA!! WB wake up and steal Marvels play book ASAP!!!:bh:

This along with the comeos by Tony Stark and Nick Fury in the Hulk film, and the cameo by Nick Fury in Iron Man, means Marvel is starting to show they all live in one universe.
And an Avengers movie is on its way, and perhaps a crossover type movie.

WOW! The most generic, irrelevant connection ever!

er....this isn't really new news. there have been debates about how 'ultimate' this film is going to be with a super soldier based hulk background instead of the comic 'gamma bomb'

im looking forward to hulk more than i.m im a big cap fan i cant wait for this

Cool....oh yeah I remember reading somewhere that one of the things Norton did by rewriting the script was include references to characters/events in the Marvel universe. This must be one of them.

Hmm...and Kevin Feige just said recently that they'll be announcing next year's Marvel film in-between Iron Man's release and Incredible Hulk's release. Maybe we'll be seeing Captain America soon?

Hulk is still created from Gamma Radiation not Super Solider Serum. The Serum is a whole different thing that the US Army are working on and test it on Blonsky who later becomes Abomination.

Yea,this was a cool reference.

See this WB? A lot of work will have to be done to set up a future Avengers movie, but at least Marvel is trying.

Now if only the WB could put some effort into Flash, WW, GL, etc. movies instead of wasting time trying to rush out that crappy Young Justice League of Australia project.

I hope that Captain America comes soon, and maybe Steven spielberg can get involved..

:word: I could not agree with you more. I think WB should be negotiating with Nolan to see if the 3rd Batman could be Worlds Finest. Financially it makes more sense than SR sequel.

I don't know about you guys but I get all super excited about cameos and references. I hope Marvel keeps up with stuff like that. :woot:

are you 100% sure on this because i'm not totally convinced, especially with the absence of rick jones...

Cool reference doesn't mean thing without any real announcements of Captain America or Thor.

As you all have known by now, all Marvel Studio movies are in a "holding pattern" pending financial success from the current movies. So I rather hold my horses before drooling on that trivia.

It would be cool if Wolverine mentions Cap too.

It depends on Iron Man, which seems very unlikely to do poorly.
I don't know about Hulk doing as well but Iron Man should keep Marvel films afloat.

This Hulk film is probably promoted as a remake. So it's really the star power that's going to draw in the initial audience, excluding comic fans.

God, i hope so!!! ( i think it will be Thor or Ant-Man though)...

Ugh,Ant Man...I never read any of his comics but visually he looks lame and well the original sounds pretty lame IMO. If they make a comedy movie out of him then I am disgusted. Don't get me wrong,I like bits of comedy here and there, but I would never ever want a Marvel movie with a character as the main good guy as a straight up source of comedy. Frack that! I must be blunt folks.
As for Captain America,I don't really like him or dislike or really dislike him,but I do think he is ok at this point.
I am going to let him prove to me that he isn't as uncool as I think he seems to be,so I will give the movie a shot somewhat in regards to how Marvel wants to make a movie about him.

I wonder how GR, SM, FF & XM are going to get involved in this.
