These movies were so bad lol. Probably why I may be the only one who has ever heard of it. Well, what do you expect when you make Captain America look like this:

You cant get it on DVDs. But its available on VSH.

Though honestly buying it is a mistake, its on Youtube.

Reb Brown is a good choice but give him a great costume xD

i rember reanting at on vsh at block buster that how i found out about spider-man live action in 1970s you can watch them on you utube too. i hope they mght put it out on dvd maybe when the new spider-man moive coms out

the sequel is the stuff of legend between my friends and i. it's full of so many hilarious wtf moments that it's a true classic.

At least it had Christopher Lee....and the suit was made to look more like the comic than the first movie did.

definitely. but it also has the awesome scene where his bike turns into a hang glider. and there are are even more dogs that bend his indestructible shield.

I was able to overlook the helmet, the fact that he wasn't from WWII, and that he didn't present himself as a leader of men....but man that shield of his was lame.

I have both the movies...last time I watched them was a little over a year ago.

Because it was a 70's TV movie made for children.

I will be giving away my age here, but I remember seeing this on TV as a wee one.
In the late 70's marvel tried their hand at TV with 4 characters by making pilot movies to see how people responded to them for a full blown series. The Incredible Hulk and Spider-man pilots proved popular enough that they were picked up as series, Hulk for 5 seasons and Spidey for 2. Cap got a second movie, but it was crap too. The one I haven't seen is Doctor Strange, and considering Cap got a two chances despite how bad it is, I can't imagine how bad Doc Strange is.

The Doctor Strange movie was actually half way decent. Things were changed for TV of course....but they made a decent attempt.

Gotta love how Captain America II gave Cap the ability to destroy the laws of gravity and physics

I think Dr. Strange would work better today as a TV show. That old movie put me to sleep.

I remember it. I also remember Spider-man with the big, white wrist shooters and white utility belt . . . and the Daredevil and Thor spin-offs from the Hulk.

Did Cap ever take off his motorcycle helmet in this movie and have a regular mask with wings like in the comics?

His shield looks very lightweight and plastic like a frisbee. How come with his super soldier strength, he is struggling to wrestle Christopher Lee from around his throat at the end, especially since Lee is already dying from the aging effects of that broken vial?

As I remember it (and I won't claim my memory is 100%) the helmet was it. No other regular mask.

I do remember the low-buget film had a mask . . . with rubber ears molded into it rather than his real ears sticking out.

Yes, Reb Brown's suit had the motorcycle helmet only (but there were two different helmets...the first movie had painted on wings, the second had large sculpted on wings).

The rubber ears in the Salinger movie are only really noticable as rubber in some of the still pics from the movie. When he is moving around you can't notice them.

Spoony's reviews of this movie are great.

I'm actually SAD they never put these movies on TV where I live. I think they released the sequel on theaters here (around 1985 or so) but during the summer and for like 2 weeks because I never got to see it.

They might be bad but it would have been fantastic. I remember the old Spiderman TV show. Oh how I adored it. Even today I watch the old episodes and still brings great childhood memories.

Wasn't Reb Brown an ex-football player or something which was why he was chosen because of his size? I've only seen him in an episode of Three's Company and The Howling 2.

The Sci-Fi channel did air the Dr. Strange movie one late night on a Sunday I remember only that the good Dr. had the classic 70's Burt Reynolds mustache and the actress from the TV series Sledge Hammer was in it.

Yes, Brown was an ex-football player. He was in alot of different things, but the best role for him was in UNCOMMON VALOR with Gene Hackman, Robert Stack, and Fred Ward.
