Please yes! That would be awesome. Or possibly Tony building Ultron.
The reshoots sound like business as usual to me .
Of course we wil be speculating forever about what they are adding, if anything .
Can't wait till news and reviews start flowing in. The Cap spice must flow!
Elsewhere on the internet, people are taking news of a reshoot that Steve is getting killed and Winter Soldier avenging him.
Bucky is the new Loki.
A lot of us have seen the footage. But dude, if you're gonna write a spoiler, don't say *spoiler alert...just use the spoiler tag lol
I doubt it. I think it will lead into the Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Too soon for Cap's death.
I've always said that Cap will die on AOU
Ultron wants Cap because he inspires the team, and there is also the fact that Cap resists to SHIELD in TWS
why is everyone obsessed with killing Cap? ... sounds like a lot of personal problems....
Count me as someone who is completely against killing Cap. Chris Evans is one of the best things about the MCU.
Haven't people here been asking "When will Steve Rogers die?" since before CATFA came out? 'Cause it happened in a comic book so it has to happen in the film universe.
Way, way too soon for Cap to "die", although I do think it would be a clever way to resolve the Cap casting situation if Evans wanted to stop doing the franchise.
Assassinate Cap, have Bucky take over. Then recast Cap and have Bucky!Cap! and real Cap fighting side by side.
(That's my greedy Sebastian Stan fangirl talking…
But I don't want that happening until waaaaaaaay the hell down the line. Like, I want a ton of movies with Evans as Cap. Best casting decision Marvel's made for me.
Actually, in all seriousness, since they're doing Winter Soldier as Cap's sequel, what would people suggest should be the plot of the third film? I really only jumped on board with Cap comics when Brubaker came aboard, and then I've been working my way around Cap's stories.
Blech, really sick of the anxiousness to kill Cap. Falls in line with everyone's yearning for BIG, EPIC moments of the comics to come to fruition without understanding the context of why it mattered before. Leave the guy alone. Maybe give one of the biggest icons of the Marvel universe a chance to breathe in at least a trilogy before sadistically murdering him because comics?
The third film will be tricky, since they're really hammering in the "Man Out Of Time" aspects of Steve in TWS. But they've surprised me before with a clever character arc for Tony in IM3, so we'll see what they got. Maybe the reprucussions of Ultron will put him in a different place than we've seen him before.
edit: I'm of course speaking more in regards to the personal journey than the plot itself.
Anyways he can't die until I get my CapWolf movie. AWOOOOOOOO!
CapWolf excepted (sorry WT t: ) what would be a good personal arc for Cap for a third film that might incorporate the fallout from Ultron?
maybe something where he has to deal with an Infinity Gem falling into his hands as a lead up to Thanos? Maybe the reappearance of the Red Skull (provided he doesn't appear in this movie)?
It seems like we're getting a mix of TWS and the Captain America No More storyline where he defies orders and the government/SHIELD's out gunning for him in CATWS. So I'm at a loss for the other better known Cap stories from his past.
weve literally waited years for cap to be done right on screen and just when we get it, some call for him to die?
Cap won't die in this film, he'll go underground
3 Cap and 3 Avengers will probably be it.
You don't need to spoiler tag non spoilers
Cap is the best part of MCU and my favorite superhero (and I'm Canadian)...
So what is with the fascination for him to die? Bucky wore the suit, but he's not even close to the same thing. Not to mention it was part of the Civil War storyline, which isn't happening (at least not for a while if they did do it after the Gauntlet storyline).
The build up and the long history of Cap is what made that moment so hard hitting. You kill him off in AoU and you've got 3 and a half movies with him... is there really a lasting impact there? Absolutely not.
i'm all for Cap going rogue and the government bringing in U.S.Agent (or Nuke).
Nuke is a little too much of a parody. They'll probably go with U.S. Agent if they did go that route.
With news/rumors that Don Cheadle will appear in Avengers: AoU, they may try to put him into CA: TWS in some sort of cameo. There were rumors back when they were filming that he showed up on set so it's possible. Plus with them doing reshoots, they may shoot some sort of scene for him to set any future appearance up.
