Fantasy TV is now The Lord of the Rings!
Heroes are moving to the Movies sections!
The best superhero romance? I would probably say Cap/Peggy for contemporary films.
The most incredible chemistry between actors has to be hands down David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. You could cut their sexual tension with a knife. Incredible.
That's simply not true. Not at all. You're ignoring an obvious fact just to make your argument, which you don't need to do.
Outside of Pepper/Tony, they were the more involved than any other pairing in the MCU. It's not like the puppy love/crush of Jane/Thor. They were on the road to a long relationship. That road just got cut short. By the time TFA ended, they were already in love with one another.
And you state that 70 years passed by him in an instant--which is true--but then you say the relationship is moot because it's 70 years old. Not to him it isn't. He just woke up from a flash forward to the future. For him, it's instantaneous.
It's "instantaneous," plus a year in this future world. Or two. Or three.
We're clearly never going to see eye to eye on the alleged "ick factor" involved in a Steve/Sharon relationship (although I'll just point out that what Steve Rogers did in the *comics* was substantially more "caddier" than anything we're discussing here, because he was banging BOTH Peggy and Sharon in the 1960s while Peggy was still in her 40s and highly active with SHIELD, and both Carters still worked closely with Cap --- and yet, as Quagmire-y as that gets, *nobody* ever said "boo" about it)....
....so I'll redirect and ask instead: What do you think Steve is supposed to do, then, in the 21st century? Carry a torch for a dead woman he never even dated? Wear a long black veil and sackcloth and mourn a woman who died years, maybe decades, ago? Or do you think he should get on with his life, and start living in the future, since it is now his present?

The Marvel wiki made it sound like she was Peggy's daughter, which is worse. Grand niece...eh, not as bad. Still, the point is moot in my mind. They never should have tried to make Sharon related in the first place.

In some continuities, Black Widow and Cap have gotten together.
It also says she is in the files from the Phase 1 set and dvd extras somewhere, not to mention the whole cut Man out of time scene on the Avengers Bluray and in the Avengers young readers book.Just an FYI, Peggy was alive and well in the MCU at least up to Avengers. Feige and Whedon both said so. That funeral may be her's though, who knows. But I see no ick factor at all.

I'm still placing my bets on the fact Peggy was around the Super soldier formula so much that she had side effects and it slowed her aging. I STILL think the woman on the Counsel in Avengers was Peggy Carter

That's be kind of awkward, as that woman was all for blowing up New York, with Steve in it.
Haha, hell hath no fury...well he did stand her up 70 years ago, ahahahah
Yeah Sam, I meant as Peggy TODAY.What? No. That was Jenny Agutter.
Senility, go figure lolThat's be kind of awkward, as that woman was all for blowing up New York, with Steve in it.
