He has a right to his view guys.
Oh well, just one less person we have to hear piss and moan when it comes out. You probably didn't get how Joss was showing CA's struggles in adjusting to the modern world by his actions in the gym. Plus, you still got him struggling with certain technology on the Helicarrier still so it's still there, just not as a main plot thread throughout the movie.
Yes he does, no one is denying that. But why come to a board dedicated to a movie just to say how much you're not interested in said movie? I have no interest in Transformers 4, hence i don't wander over to that board to spew my feeling to those who are clearly anticipating it. Makes no sense.
He's also on the GotG board listing his demands for watching that movie. He hasn't said he's waiting for it to hit TV though, so my fingers are still crossed that he'll see it.
Hahaha I love coming into threads seeing stuff like this. Yeah I don't get why you'd post in a thread for a film you don't wanna see.
They're making another one?
Been away for a week did anything happen with that disney preview thing
There will probably be a Transformers 8 by 2020.
And Bay is still doing it.
I think he said it's his last TF movie before he passes on the franchise to a new director.
Personally I don't either, it's a waste of time, but some fans like to post how upset they are with a given direction and it's their right to do so without getting mocked.
Avengers might be an exception since it's such a huge focus of Marvel's and they want to really nail it, plus Whedon being Whedon. I missed IM3 so I can't make a call there though from what I've heard I get what you mean. I HOPE I'm wrong, but I feel like we've gotten a mixed bag so far.
I agree that always seemed like a wasted opportunity.
Maybe they'll back up a little for this film. It could be explained that he was living in a lot of isolation up to the Avengers because he was having problems adjusting and having to catch up so quickly on things. He did seem fairly comfortable with all the tech around him in Avengers, but perhaps he was following the great motto, 'fake it til you make it'.
That's like an addict saying this is his last hit off the crack pipe. Bay needs to blow **** up to feel alive.
How do I mark my calendar for what WON'T happen? I'll just save him a the seat in front of me so i can put my feet up.
I wish Marvel would release that elevator scene. It sounds so badass.
Rewatched TFA this weekend and man do I love that movie. It definitely has the most heart of all the phase 1 films for me and mostly due to Chris's portrayal of Steve. Really looking forward to see what he does this go around.
I did as well, while working on shields and such. That movie gets better every time i see it.
Why would they have focused on Cap's man out of time struggles in TA. That was a team movie with about seven other characters who all needed screentime and development. They did kind of hint at it with Steve not understanding pop culture references. It would have been too much for the film to highlight Cap any further. His own movie is the place to focus on those things.
^exactly what Whedon said in interviews about why he cut the extra Cap footage
he didn't want to step on the next director's toes and cut out a big chunk of Cap 2's drama
I would have liked a bit more of Cap's adjustment, but overall I think they handled it well. It makes sense to not focus too much on him with all the other players needing development.
I can see them still addressing these issues and expanding on his struggles in Winter Soldier.
I would still love to see Cap's deleted scene from the Avengers in Cap 2.
