why would they take ques from crap animated movies for big live action movies?

I'm gonna say no. In fact, I quite liked the way they handled Natasha in the Ultimate universe. It may not have been loyal to 616, but I thought it really worked for the character. Since they seem to be taking an Ultimate-esque approach (Nick Fury recruiting for a government initiative), I say if they use Widow, use that portrayl.

I didn't mind it in the cartoon, worked well and can work well in a movie. But I'd rather have Carter
