Indeed. If I had to guess, maybe this was changed due to feedback from test screenings. The fact that this was a reality and not just concept art and they didn't go with it is absurd.
Only reason I can think ofIndeed. If I had to guess, maybe this was changed due to feedback from test screenings.

He was always treated as a supporting character in the movies, with not a lot to work with. Then Disney+ came and they gave his own show but he still had to share the lead role with Bucky.Watched this movie on the plane. It had some interesting elements that didn’t really get fleshed out. I think the general idea of a politician/conspiracy thriller was right, the execution was just poor. Cinematography was surprisingly mediocre.
I think when it boiled down to it, I just didn’t find myself that drawn to Sam’s story as a character.
Allegedly. Mytimetoshine is saying this only after the show came out. And her track record has been awful the last couple years. So I wouldn’t put much stock in it.![]()

Zeke Stane was supposed to be the creator of Serpent Society.
His role in the movie was nothing special. I thought for a late addition, it would have been a notable role, but it was essentially the head of a faceless group of human criminals. While Giancarlo Esposito is obviously a better actor then Seth Rollins, I still can't take him seriously in the role he had in the movie (that was clearly written to be a physical threat). They should have brought back all the actors who played the Serpent Society and tone down the campy aspects of their original performances. GE should've been saved for another character/movie.
