Josh Horowitz Verified account ‏@joshuahorowitz 15m15 minutes ago Holy crap, CIVIL WAR is really great. Top tier Marvel for sure. Exceeded my expectations. Downey's best performance since original Iron Man
"Better than Age of Ultron" translates to "its really its fn awesome" to me.
"Wayyyy too long" I have no idea what that means
It probably means he thinks it drags. Odd considering a lot of talk about the pacing has been positive.
"waaaay too long"?
sounds like someone's got no attention span
"you want me to sit in one place for over two hours?? pssssh"
He probably drank his jumbo soda before the movie even started and, well, you know how it is.

The command the Russos have over tone in CIVIL WAR is masterful. One minute you're laughing so hard you miss lines; the next you're in tears

CIVIL WAR will go down as the MCU's EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. Other great films & scenes will likely follow, but they'll be compared to CW imo
Goose. Bumps. Finally, a Superhero trilogy that nails the landing???
Move aside, Batman v Superman: this is how its done. The Russo Brotherss Captain America: Civil War is a triumph in every way.
Damn, this film may endear me to Tony Stark (whose charms have worn thin on me) all over again.
RDJ is a great actor with or without the quips
That is true even though I love his quips I thought is panic attack stuff in iron man 3 was acted really while and also in this movie in the trailer we he like gets shoot in the face the look on his face is just great.
Re-watched 'AoU' last night even though I'm not a huge fan of that movie... Gotta hand it to RDJ, even when he's 'coasting' on his charm he's often the best thing about a scene. An otherwise dull scene of Tony visiting the WWW hub in Oslo had me cracking up when he starts singing in a hillbilly cadence: 'Hoo, I'mDecipherin'NuclearCodesAndYouDon'tWantMeToooooo'.....
Looking forward to seeing him bring back Tony's dark side... One of the things that made Iron Man 1 so great was the fact that he really WAS clearly suffering from PTSD and built Iron Man partially to cope with that, he didn't just turn into a 'good guy' overnight. The later movies tend to lean too hard on his 'charming playboy' aspect and ignore his anger.
