Decided to do my own custom shield to replaced the too large Licensed Shield I started with, went with the cheap ebay knight shield for the start after checking the size was what I needed for accuracy.
used a cutter wheel to trim the top edge for better shape, stripped the lion and paint, then spec'd out the correct size of the stars, stripes, and blue section. Used an old Indy bag strap and cut the end of a shovel handle for the grip.
