So...600 Mil is within the realm of possibility here hopefully?
Seems like an eventuality at this point.So...600 Mil is within the realm of possibility here hopefully?
Going to have to wait for next week's numbers. It should be far more clear by then. TWS should have a big third week domestically with the holiday, so next week is the real question mark. Right now though, I'd say it is a real possibility. How possible do you guys think $700 M is?
8th biggest opening doesn't sound impressive but that's stacked against Spider-man, Iron Man and Avengers.
For some context, where TWS ranks among all Marvel films:

No. 8, right under Iron Man!
Easily Cap will probably be the Summer blockbuster of 2014
Not impossible, but fairly improbable now, I think. With this opening weekend, it's looking at a potentially good run toward about $250-260m domestic (unless it gets killer legs, which is certainly possible), so to hit $700m, it would need to eclipse Thor 2's overseas take. I just don't see that happening. To me, the optimistic target here is now $650-670mil.How possible do you guys think $700 M is?

I like that. too. That's almost double the first one's total take?
I like that.
It's in the top 10 that's still impressive by any standers, especially since it's a sequel.
