Marvel Studios is set to begin shooting the superhero feature film sequel "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" on March 1, 2013. The locations where filming will take place are Los Angeles and Cleveland, Ohio. Some additional filming will take place in Washington D.C. according to Leslie Green, Senior Communications manager with the DC Film Office. Principal actor casting will take place in Los Angeles and Cleveland, with extras also being cast in both cities. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures has announced that they will release the film in theaters on April 4, 2014. The working title for "Captain America: The First Avenger" was Frostbite, and the working title for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" will be Freezerburn.
