Thanks for the compliment. Yes, I made them myself; first, I make a simple drawing on paper, then I ink it. After that, I scan the drawing in Paint Shop Pro and save it. Then I load the drawing in Corel Painter 9 to do the colouring. I consider the colouring as the most fun part.

As for my screen name, well, I'm a huge Tolkien fan, but I'm also a Star Trek fan, so the name is kind of a mix of the two. It's also my username on the TrekBBS (a board for Trek fans) and having the same username on both boards is just a matter of practicality.

Yes, I find inking easier on paper than in Corel Painter, but I do use Painter to correct some mistakes. Paint shop pro I use for photoshopping work, like putting backgrounds on a drawing.
I can tell you this : once you have used Corel Painter, you never, ever, do your colouring on paper again; it's that good!! You definitely should try it!
