Captain Marvel Captain Marvel Mid and post credits sequences

So there’s usually two, one for the next movie from marvel studios (not always but I’m going to go with that) and the second is a hint at what will happen in captain marvel 2.

So what do you think the after credits scenes should be? I reckon...

1. Someone drops off a briefcase to a guy in a limo. We scroll up and see it’s General Lukin, setting up a Black Widow movie and the first one of phase 4

2. Agent Coulson is called to a new crash site. Someone asks if it’s possibly a kree landing or maybe the skrulls this time. Coulson says no and we see what it is. He says “it’s a moonstone.”

If they do a comedy one it should involve Chewie revealing

Post cred or post creds will tie into A4 and yeah, if there are two then for sure set up for CM2 in some way with, yeah, I'm guessing some kind of tease of Moonstone... Or maybe I just want Moonstone? Either way, that's how I see it.

But in my fantasy:

I would love to see a proper 90s animated rogue appear in the mcu and a captain marvel sequel would be a fun place to introduce it. Just as long as it’s not permanent.

1st one should be the attack on Xandar. Or her arriving there in it's aftermath.

2nd should be dusting and her pager going off.

A powerful hero needs an equally engaging foe to keep them on their toes.

You know how they change things, maybe in the MCU when Rogue absorbs Carol it doesn't depower her completely, just forces her to fight harder. Suffering builds character lol.

I actually don't think we'll see her getting the call from Fury until Avengers 4, but if we do get it in Captain Marvel, that'll be the mid-credits scene to tie it into A4, with a second post-credits scene dealing with something that was in the movie, as per usual with most of the MCU second credits scenes.

Not if it’s still the 90s. No reason to believe Karla will pick it up right away. They might study the stone for a few decades before she finds it

The thing is, some fans don't really care about Captain Marvel and just want to see Rogue. Which is fine, I guess, since Rogue is indeed a great character... but as a Carol fan, it's still kind of disheartening to see.

I mean, the first thing some people said after seeing that concept art of Carol with the jacket was "OMG, they're already hinting at Rogue!!!" That's just sad.

So... saddle what's being positioned as Marvel's marquee female character with a tired cliche' that you admit has already been done in the MCU to serve another character to satisfy nostalgia for a 90's cartoon version of another character?

Using the call to bookend this, The First Avenger style, would be fine. Open in present with the Thanos shenanigans, some narration by Fury back to *____ insert meat of the movie here _____ *, ends in present with the space cellphone of doom.

you do know Spider-Man:Far From Home is the first film of phase 4...

Why Spider-Man 2, just because it is the next movie after A4?


Ant-Man 1 and 2 never received credit scenes from the movies before them. Dr.Strange did not have a credit scene set up either.

GOTG 2 did not set up movies like Ragnarok or BP
Ragnarok did not set up BP.

i think one of them will absolutely be an A4 tie-in

and the other might just be something that ties off a plot point in the movie, like a grandmaster/teen groot, etc
