I can't think of anyone. Denzel Washington would have been perfect a few years back. Samuel L Jackson seems like an uninspired choice. I would think you'd need some one late twenties early thirties.

Yes. He's not bad. But far from leading man material. Especially for a character as multi faceted as Hyperion. He's much more suited for the small, supporting role.

of course not. but you didn't comment on his looks. you asked me if he could act. i honestly have no idea, so i wanted to know if you thought he looked like Hyperion. if he doesn't look like Mark, then there's no point in talking about his acting ability.

P.S. Mark doesn't do much 'acting' in the book either. most of his stuff is physical. it's the people around him who have the most to say, i figure.

all unknowns.I believe in doing a movie like this,somthing everyone who isnt a comic fan would call a rip off,youd need unknowns to set the faces of these characters in there minds as fresh.

I agree about all unknowns but Paul Walker as Joe Ledger is dead on!
Anyway this is all speculation since a SS movie will NEVER happen cuase WB/DC would sue the pants off of Marvel for copyright infringement. Hence when it comes to possible Marvel movies, SS is NEVER mentioned by anyone.

It seems he was going for a mix of old and new.

he looks nothing like him; either version of Redstone. i doubt he could even act like the stone cold psycho that the new Redstone is.

It seems he was going for a mix of old and new.

there'd be no point to it. he cast the new version of Spectrum. Spectrum and Kingsley were an item. if you cast a guy as Amphibian, then you've drastically changed the story.
there's nothing wrong with casting the Gruenwald series but why mix and match? hell, the actor he chose to play Amphibian didn't even slightly resemble the original version.
