Cast as Frank Castle

Just wanted your thoughts on who should be cast as frank castle.

If it were up to me I would say Tom Jane again,Or the guy From law&order:SVU

Anyways,Let me know what you guys think.

Well Stevenson looks like he might do a good job, but we won't know until the movie comes out. But if He were to be recasted Christopher Meloni from Law&Order: SVU, or Jason Isaacs from Brotherhood. Richard Burgi or Clancy Brown could work too.

You know, it's funny you should mention Hugh Jackman since he was thought of to originally play punisher along with Vin Diesel, and The Rock. I flipped out when I read that in PSM. Warburton looks like a good punisher, but i can't help but imagine Brock Sampson on the screen, lol.

I remember hearing about Hugh Jackman and I think if he gained about 10lbs. in muscel he could pull it of,and as for patrick warburton,I agree,I'd be thinking brock samson lol.WTF,Vin diesel? and the rock?! WOW,I am sooooo glad they got Jane,and speaking of wich,I wish he would come back......

Yeah, Jane was a good castle, but I highly doubted they were going to select Jackman as Castle since he previously played Wolverine. It'd been funny if they did a Punisher vs. Wolverine movie staring Hugh Jackman in both roles, lol!

hmmmmmm,who could work as Barracuda,I know alot of people are gonna say Michael clarke duncan,and i think He would be an "ok" choice,He does have that,thing about him,The way he talks,his Voice,I think he could pull it off.

lol,that would be pretty interesting......the one thing that pisses me off is the new costume,I think they should just use the in the beginning costume.
I always thought that the gnucci's would be interesting on film,I would like to see some old school villains,like sniper or the hitman

Yeah, the costume is kinda half and half. I like that it has a tactical vibe to it, but at the same time Castle shouldn't have one particular costume, he should dress for certain types of missions. The in the beginning costume would be awesome, but he'd need tactical wear. The war zone costume works well, but i don't want to see it through the entire movie, you know, I want the marvel knights outfit, or maybe a classic chuck dixon look. I hear you on the villains. It'd be nice to see an updated version of the jackal, which Willem Dafoe could play easily. Don't make him green, but have his teeth sharpend and make him a drug lord cannibal of the underworld with dirty unkept nails.

Also, I noticed three of my choices for Castle (Isaacs Meloni, & Burgi are kinda bald, lol) Maybe they could use hair pieces?

Yeah,I wouldn't mind seeing a costume change,ya know,but seeing that tactical costume ALL the way through the movie would be iritating!
I LOVE your Idea for the jackal,that would be BADASS! And willem Defoe would be PERFECT!Hahahahaha,Yeah,all of em Kinda old lol,Recieding hairlines lol.

Yeah, he does look like Jane. I swear, Lambert, Jane, Purefoy, & Eckhart all look like they're related. It's strange. I also like those choices if Warburton grew out a beard, he could pass as the Punisher from the warzone series. Stallone could be Max, Jackman could be an old-school Marvel U punisher (Him vs. Spidey 129 style would rock), and lambert could easily be the marvel knights punisher. I can just see him fighting the russin now, lol.

Yeah, but I doubt he'll be able to grow it out. He and Meloni look like they can pull of Mike Zeck's Punisher. I noticed he had a kind of hair line issue too, lol.
