Peter Capaldi... Adrian Toomes/Vulture

Paul Giamatti... Aleksei Sytsevich/Rhino

MAIN CAST
  • Dane DeHaan: The Green Goblin/Harry Osborn
  • Alan Rickman: Doc Ock/Dr. Otto Octavius
  • Paul Giamatti: RHINO/Aleskei Sytsevich
  • Zachary Quinto: Mysterio/Quentin Beck
  • Jamie Foxx: Electro
  • John Malcovich: Vulture

SUPPORTING CAST

  • Michael Massee: Gustav Fiers/The Gentleman
  • Felicity Jones: Felicia Hardy (Black Cat in a post-credits scene)
  • Chris Cooper: Norman Osborn/The Goblin (USM inspired)
  • Rhys Ifans: Dr. Curt Connors (Offered a place on the team, becomes an associate against own will)
  • Andrew Garfield: Spider-Man/Peter Parker

ANTAGONISTS

  • Colm Feore: Donald Menken
  • Martin Csoskas: Dr. Kafka
  • B.J. Novak: Alistair Smythe/Spider-Slayer

We know Electro won't be apart of the Six, so.....

I really doubt Menken and Kafka will be back (I hope to God Kafka isn't), Smythe could return although I don't see what else he could do, and I would prefer they stick to villains they haven't used already rather than have Ifans and Foxx return. Maybe Curt and Max can have cameos, but that's it. I'd like to see Rhino back because it would be pretty weird to have him for the 5 minutes he was onscreen only for him to never be seen again. Felicia could be the one forced to be an associate of the Six rather than the Lizard.

Felicia's only in my fancast because y'know... obligatory romantic interest.

If I had my way, I think we'd all know who the love interest would be! :oldrazz:

Maybe Felicia could start off as an outright villain, but then realize how badly she screwed up later.

I had a feeling it was [BLACKOUT]Rhino[/BLACKOUT]

I know you too well Miles.

Watch Tim Curry in any movie and you'll see why he's my pick for Mysterio.

How about Tom Waits as Mysterio? Perfect casting if he'd do it.

Mysterio is a very easy role to cast, it doesn't really require any specific characteristics, in my opinion. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they try to diversify the team by changing his race, since he wears a helmet most of the time anyway.

True. But it needs to be someone with a distinctive voice, and Waits and Curry both fit that bill.

Woody Harrelson as vulture, and maybe Jonah Hill as doc ock (I'm hesitant on the latter but he's killed it in the few serious roles he's taken on)

Just because of the amount of comedies Hill has done, I would not be able to take him seriously as a villain. Being serious and playing a villain are two very different roles.

Also, welcome to the Hype!

Woody Harrelson isn't old enough, I'd prefer someone like Peter Capaldi from Doctor Who. As for Ock, I'd prefer a sleeker, less roly-poly actor, like Mads Mikkelson or Alan Rickman.

Capaldi is a good choice, he's got a similar face! And speaking of Doctors, I can see David Tennant as mysterio

Yea, now that I think about it, I couldn't see him do anything but add comic relief to a super dramatic moment. And Thanks!

I watched Panic Room not too long ago, and I think that Forest Whitaker would be a good choice for Mysterio. He's got that intense but calming voice I imagine Quentin having.

I could see that. He's got that calm voice that could be spine-chilling given the proper dialogue. For a while I was fan casting Jeremy Irons for Mysterio (Because I always read mysterio's voice as scar's from lion king in my head) but seeing as he's DCU's Alfred it seems less likely now

Irons would have been great yeah. For me, Tom Waits is my dream choice.

Besides, we don't need more comic relief, you know?

It's time to be serious and sinister.

:yay:
