With an film adaptation of the kick-ass PS3 game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune already in the wings, I thought it'd be cool to start a thread discussing our picks for the cast. After all, I've played the game and I'm getting the Fortune Hunter's Edition of Uncharted 2 in the mail VERY soon, so I'd consider myself a fan of the series.
Anyway, here's who I'd go with:
Nathan Drake- How about Charlie Sheen? Think about this guys: Nate in the game both sounds and looks kinda like Charlie. Should Columbia Pictures go with this idea, I think it'd be worth their while. Besides, better him than Christian Slater, lol.
Elena Fisher- This might be a little difficult character to cast, but I think that maybe Cameron Diaz would be the most appropriate choice for Elena. Both the character and actress are blond, and they can both kick ass. Hey, if anyone has a better choice, let me know. I'm all ears.
Victor "Sully" Sullivan: Simply put, John Goodman. If he can play Pops Racer AND Fred Flintstone to perfection, he can easily play Sully. 'Nuff said.
Gabriel Roman: Another easy one. How about Michael Cain? Both the character and actor are British (at least, I THINK the character's British; if I'm wrong let me know), so I think Cain could do a good villain performance for a change.
Atoq Navarro (Roman's right-hand man): Hmmm....this is a tough one. I'd say maybe Mickey Rourke, but again, I'm not sure on that either. Again, if anyone has better picks for this character, please post them.
Eddy Raja (another villain from the first game): I know the character's from Indonesia, so, again, I'm a little stumped. However, if they decided to make the character a Latino, maybe John Leguizamo (yeah, I said it) would fit the bill to a certain extent? Again, that's just me.
Well, that's everyone. If you disagree with any my picks, who do you think should be cast instead? I'm always open to suggestions. Let the brainstorming begin, boy!
