I don't know anything about negotiation talks about the Vulture but I've been thinking Kingsley for sometime now for this very role.

Yup not only were there rumors of it in early 05, the art of Spider-Man 3 book confirms it along with concept art as well.

Is that suppose to be Sandman behind Vulture? Sure does look like him.

If there is another Spiderman and the Vulture is a villain, his character can not have the original cheap get-up he wore. The Vulture will have to be really thought of before placing him on the big screen.

Strathairn would be a good choice. Slightly out of the box instead of Kingsley, which kinda feels like typecasting to me, though he could definitely nail the role.

I've been hearing Larry David as Vulture rumors for years now. Where the hell did all that come from? I mean, is a joke now, but there was some point in time (2004 or 2005ish) where they were seriously considering asking him to do it.
Which would probably be the worst thing ever, but humorous to think about.

I don't think Malkovich would be interested in any roles in the Spider-Man movies. I remember there was speculation of him being the Green Goblin in the first movie, or maybe he was even offered the role, but I remember him saying that he wouldn't do it because these type of movies aren't "artistic" enough. Thanks for being a blow-hard, Malkovich.
