Now that Nathan Fillion got in shape for that Uncharted Fan movie. I could see Fillion playing Hal

I think he got in shape for the series he's on now. But the uncharted thing was probably a plus too lol.

Ralph or Joseph Fiennes would be my pick for Sinestro. Both Fiennes brothers could do a good job. Joseph has been a good villain on handmaidens tale recently.

Regarding Fiennes... he's really good on The Handmaid's Tale but that's because he's great at coming off like THE most unlikable A-hole in the world. I don't see him as Sinestro though, because Sinestro has to also be formidable and threatening. Fiennes just seems like a guy who needs a good beating. Now Ralph Fiennes? Hell yeah.

Boyega is a good actor but maybe it's just due to Star Wars... I have trouble seeing him as a badass Marine character. Though he was really good in Detroit.

I would like to see someone who may not look like Hal physically but makes up for it in charisma, good talents, play good and bad sides and hasn't played someone yet and I think the cast should be:

Matthew McConaughey as Hal Jordan/ GL
David Ramsey as John Stewart/ GL
Dave Bautista as Kilowog
Doug Jones as Sinistro

Not sure about others yet.

 

I dont know about Doug Jones as sinestro. Tomar re would be a great fit for him imo.
