Casting Boodikka...

Ok, I know you're like, "Not another casting thread!" but... might as well. Who do you think should play Boodikka, especially after seeing the concept art?

Natalia Vodianova

I vote Natalia Vodianova. She played Medusa (who was a CGI character) in "Clash of the Titans" and kind of looks like the CGI version of Boodikka.

Maybe they should get voice actors for the Green Lantern corps since they'll mostly be CGI.

Well, she is going to be CGI seeing by the concept art so going for a good voice actress would fit better.

Should be an actress with a powerful voice.

Well, if it's a voice actor that you are looking for, then I would have to give first dibbs to Tricia Helfer. She's played Boodikka before in "Green Lantern: First Flight" and has a resume of other voice acting gigs. The next choice for a voice actor would be Glynnis Talken, who was famously known for the voice of Sarah L. Kerrigan in "Starcraft" and "Starcraft: Broodwars". Coincidentally, Tricia Helfer plays Kerrigan in the new "Starcraft II" in gamestores now.

I always imagined Boodkikka with a deep, threatening voice.

Have they already said she'll more than likely be CG? I figured they'd actually find people for the more humanoid looking ones.

Could this mean that Boodikka will just be a background character? With Strong playing an alien humanoid, CGI humanoids will stick out like a sore thumb.

That makes sense of the fact that they've removed hair from those characters.

I think it's possible that Boodikka could be just a CGI creation as a background character, THEN she could be a live action actress in the sequels.

It's like how the John Stewart cameo may lead to a bigger role in a sequel, but I doubt that they would use the same actor. No offensive to him.
