Too be honest I don't think she would have to speak too much. Kinda like the silent killer Jet Li played in the Lethal weapon movie. Just comes in, kills, then fades out.

While I like that idea Shiva can be more interesting beyond just an assassin.

Her enormous ego and drive to be the best, which could make any interactions with Riddler entertaining, would be a great counter to Batman's. It would spark a rivalry between all three where they have to outdo the others from completing their goals.

An actress who can speak English can show this much more then one who cannot.

Ray Winstone is, IMO, the ideal Kingpin in a Daredevil reboot.

Ray Winstone is my favourite ever actor. I would love to see him in a Nolan Bat-film. I don't know who he could play though, i wouldn't say Penguin, maybe Black Mask? Has anyone seen Scum? He is the hardest bastard ever in that.

He looks like he fits in well with the Nolan universe. I'd definitely love to see him have a go at it. One of the best actors we have today imho.

Sweet Jesus, I never even thought of this. I've loved his roles in the films I've seen him in... He'd be perfect for The Penguin, in my opinion. Hell, there are a few actors from his old King Arthur cast I'd like to see in these movies, namingly Clive Owen and Ray Stevenson... The latter may be a bit more rough seeing as how he's about to appear in The Punisher, but nonetheless I like the three of them a lot.

I've yet to see it either, but I wouldn't worry too much about a language barrier. Jet Li and Jackie Chan both speak very little English, despite having done films in America for over a decade (perhaps two) now.

*Hurm* I like this choice................ however at the moment I'm not to sure how Penguin could fit into Nolan's world at the moment; but ya know I'd be happy if he was importantly casted for anybody in Nolan's BatMan series.

You know, I actually wouldn't mind if Shiva didn't speak English at all.

Part of the character's history is that her and her sister escaped from their home village to live in Detroit for some time before being found and recruited by the League of Assassins.

Now you can argue that the spending time in the US isn't all that necessary to the character if all you wanted to do was show that she's a ruthless killer but Shiva is a bit more than that; she's also a very savvy business woman and has used her pull in the underworld to set up some prominent legitimate fronts that allow her to maneuver in two worlds simultaneously.

On top of that she's extremely showy and arrogant but she's deadly as hell because she doesn't speak falsehoods, she's damned good possibly the best.

I personally love the idea of her going up against Bane or David Cain or even Deathstroke or Deadshot in a contest to see who could get to Batman first now that he's wanted by both the police and several criminal organizations. If its not the plot of the third movie I would hope that they at least consider this kind of plot for an animated "2.5" film kinda like they did with The Gotham Knight but this time having the film actually lead into the third movie. Don't make it absolutely necessary of course because you know people aren't all going to go out and buy it but if these two (or hell use all four) assassins fail you could set it up so that either:

1. The Riddler comes in; seeing that challenging Batman to a test of strength didn't work he instead seeks to prove a match for his intelligence which I would like to see because I really would like to see the World's Greatest Detective act like it for once.
2. Talia and the League of Shadows move in to avenge Ras; any one or all of those assassins could've been hired by the League through proxies in the hopes of maximizing their probability of success.
3. Both at the same time.

Speaking of a 2.5 animation I would love to see one involving Joker in Arkham or something. It would be brilliant, I don't think anyone could argue with that. It would also quench peoples Joker thirst if he isn't to be in the next one.
