The Dark Knight Rises Casting Call (All Villains)

I love Batman fighting Killer Croc in AA (St Georges slaying the dragon), I hope I get to see that on screen some day.
Ving Rhames or Terry Crewes for KC.
Geoffrey Rush for the ventriloquist, but no mob reference and no speech impedement, just a creepy little doll and a creepier ventriloquist, like Anthony Hopkins in "Magic", best ventriloquist movie ever.

What if Serkis was The Riddler? I think that'd be an awesome choice... I'd prefer him in that role over The Penguin, really.

Well, at least my suggesting Gollum got him into the dialogue of playing somebody in Nolan's batverse.

Johnny Whitworth as The Joker

WTF? DiCaprio as The Riddler? And what a huge age difference between Foster and Laurie. And that dude from TDK is not Hatter.

And that dude from TDK is not Hatter.
He did nothing in that movie, but that little scene convinced everybody that of all actors in the world, he would be the best for a different character.

Yeah, i really dont get it. I didnt think of him as hatter for one second, he just looked like some random creeper dude.

That is your opinion and I respectfully disagree with it.

Di Caprio is a great actor, somehow strangely he just doesn't have the cool aura that a guy like Depp has. But it's just opinions therefore hard to discuss:woot:.

There are alot of great acotrs out there, doesnt mean they're right for a role. DiCaprio just isnt right for the Riddler. And what did that guy in TDK do really? Not much.

I actually thought he showed a great range of emotions from scared to crazy, from funny to creepy but like I said it's just my opinion.

Mad Hatter : Thomas Schiff, Arkham escapee paranoid schizophrenic from TDK.

Yes, he was excellent. I think he may have been cast to give a suggestion of classic Joker to the atmosphere with his bone structure. He looked more llike the Joker than Heath, if you know what I mean. I like the way Nolan played with that imagery. I hope Schiff returns in the third film, even only in a cameo.
Another name to watch out for is Jon Sklaroff. He was the strange-looking con in the first episode of "Life", season 1. Has a real Gotham face.

in what movies has he played a creepy guy? i cant remember.

Yea I see what you mean when you say Schiff looked more like Joker then Heath did. He just has those pointy features that remind me of Jim Lee's Joker.

I swear the actor who played Schiff is in one of those new Wendy's commercials. Just throwing it out there.

Well clearly his agent is feeding him very uneven projects:

"Alright you're set to have a two minute scene opposite Jude Law and Renee Zellweger for a romantic comedy that starts shooting next week but before that you need to shoot a spot for 1-800-MATTRESS"

Hahaha, nope it's definitely him. I had to do a double-take when I just saw him on TV during commercials. Definitely him. And it was eery seeing him play a normal, unassuming guy. :funny:
