Yeah I mean like WHITE...she is like from somewhere else man. And why the hell would I be nit-picking if I just don't see Cotillard as Catwoman at all. How the hell would that be classified as nit-picking? To me, she looks absolutely NOTHING like Selina Kyle. And why should you even care? What you're saying isnt convincing me to like Cotillard more for Catwoman....

Same way with Bane. Need I remind anyone of the premature Bane business in Batman and Robin? That's what would happen if they tried to bring Bane or Hush in at this point in The Dark Knight's career. It would feel simply awkward.

Yea the only way Hush would work is if there was a whole DC universe like what Marvel is trying to do. Then we would need a established rogues gallery for Batman. The only reason that story was credible was because it involved every major player from the Bat-verse.

I dont think Batmans career point as anything to do with bane and Hush being appropriate or inappropriate. Bane in Batman and Robin was deduced to dumb muscle when hes supposed to be (relatively) smart muscle. Bane can do well in a certain plot ie Batman with a target on his forhead like we now have. I think hes a viable option. As viable as any other option.

Hush on the other hand can be retooled fo screen but the best friend turned villain is kinda cliche. Hush represents a couple of different things (Gotham underworld, Bruces childhood, a different path Bruce could have found himself on) and while his major storyline revolved around most of the rogues gallery that can also be worked around yet doesnt make up for the lack of interest or historical relativity to Batman. Hes a throwaway character that has struggles with arcs since "Hush."

That said I still cast him everyonce in awhile just for ****s and giggles. Ethan Embry

I'm not good at casting people (which by the looks of it, some of you aren't either), which is why I don't do it, but I recognize potential good calls and bad.

Angelina Jolie as Catwoman? Horrible call, while she's hot and would probably be REALLY hot in a getup as Catwoman (or maybe 5 years ago), her role as one of the top A-list actresses would saturate the movie. Not to mention Chris Nolan would never go for it. Remember Ol' Jack in Batman '89? he was in the damn movie more than Bruce Wayne, and he was a bad Joker!

It's supposed to be a Batman movie, not an Angelina Jolie movie. Plus she does ****ty action movies anyway.

I saw someone mention Eva Green, and I think that might not be a bad call. She's beautiful and she can act (even though I only recall her in one movie i've seen lately, Casino Royale). I think she could probably suit the role without being over the top and over-rated, which Jolie I think couldn't.

and just to add, some people nit-pick and ***** about the dumbest little things that don't matter. Remember the *****ing about the casting calls for TDK and BB?
