The Dark Knight Rises Casting Call (All Villains)

Yeah, but probably not as much as Kingsley, i mean, he was in a damn Uwe Bowl film, i still wonder why. He's a good actor, why did he have to stoop so low?

Yeah, I guess that's the life of an actor, very few actors specially character actors go through their career without a few turkeys along the way, the check is probably good and they got bills to pay:woot:. Sir Ben Kingsley is a great actor, just watch or rewatch Sexy Beast.

Kingsley is kinda like Christopher Walken, he'll appear for whoevers asking

yeh hes obviously game, doesnt take himself to seriously, likes to do a diverse range of projects, and would likely accept **** like bloodrayne for the paycheck, a performance he can phone in and the prospect of fun. Did anyone catch him playing himself on The Sopranos?

^ Uwe Boll is the official anti-christ of cinema. In fact, of everything. His... films, for want of a better word, are soul-destroying. The mere fact that you ask his name shows that you still retain the Edenesque naivety that comes from a soul not tarnished by his machinations. There are rumours that instead of organs, his internal cavity is entirely occupied by cancerous formations. There are rumours, and - I believe - some factual evidence to support, that he has been in the centre of several natural disasters, but has managed to escape each time unharmed whilst around him countless others perish. He was there in New Orleans - but God failed to kill him. He was there in Indonesia when the Tsunami hit - but God failed to kill him. His regular holiday haunt is Mozambique - and every time he goes, it floods - and yet God has not managed to kill him. He once gave his personal blessings to Bangladesh - and now the country habitually fills with water from the himalayas and the Indian ocean in a vain attempt to rid itself of the stain. He is the cause of global warming - the atmosphere grows hotter in agitation at his continued presence upon the good soils of Earth. He is the opposite of Midas, the emodied re-incarnation of Carthage, the anthropomorphisation of weak soup or saturated fat, the cinematic equivilant of passive smoking.

Seriously though, he's just some moron from Germany who makes films that re-define terrible. He once said that if a petition got a million signatures, he would stop making films. I think we're up to 800 thousand.

Uwe Boll is this generations Ed Wood;

only without the 'so bad he's good' quality.

It's a bit of a tragedy that Uwe is the most recognised representative of a national film industry with the heritage of Germany's.

Bane

Pretty simple actually. I'd go with the Bane Of The Demon storyline in which Bane is highly intelligent. In "Bane of the Demon", Ra's al Ghul says that Bane "has a mind equal to the greatest he has known." In prison, he taught himself various scientific disciplines equal to the level of understanding of leading experts in those fields. He knows six active languages and at least two additional arcane and dead ones, those mentioned are Spanish, English, Urdu, Farsi, and Latin. The "Bane of the Demon" storyline reveals that he has a photographic memory. Within one year, he is able to deduce Batman's secret identity. He is also highly devious and a superb strategist and tactician. In prison, Bane also invented his own form of calisthenics, meditation, and a unique fighting style. Usage of Venom enhances his physical abilities and healing process to superhuman levels.

However, I'd change it around to the fact that Talia Al Ghul recruits him as a front man to lead another attack on Gotham. Also, Venom should be treated more like a steroid and less like the super-soldier serum from the Marvel movies. Also, I found a certain non-Hollywood actor who could pull this intelligent but still brutish Bane off.

Meet Aamir Khan

He's an actor of very high caliber and has acted in several blockbuster hits with deep and thoughtful storylines. He hardly does mainstream anymore. And his directorial debut Taare Zameen Par (Stars on Earth) has been quite successful both in India and abroad. That pic is from his latest film called Ghajini which is based off on Christoper Nolan's Memento. I know it won't happen as Mr. Nolan likes to cast newcomers and unknowns but i can try. I saw that pic and immidiately thought Bane. He got pumped up just for that role and he has a pretty average physique in the rest of his films.

I would like to see Johnny Knoxville play the Mad Hatter. He wore a top hat on Jackass once. He would fit the role.

that guy from the moento remake could pull it off does he know english? thats a serious question. cause bane has to be fluent in all languages he knows.

I can see Aamir Khan doing the voice acting for Bane.

Actually, considering he's abroad most of the time promoting his films, I would say that he is extremely fluent in English. In fact, if you have read "Bane of The Demon" , Bane mentions that he knows many languages including Farsi and Urdu and I'm sure that would be second nature to this actor

Are you saying Bane will be CGI or that he can't act?

That actually sounds like the perfect storyline. I gotta go read that.

Here are my castings. Some are a little...different so im not expecting people to agree with them(also some arent villains)

Catwoman-Marion Cotillard or Cate Blanchett(I know Cate isnt super sexy, but shes so amazing, id love to see her in the role)

Poison Ivy-Emily Blunt or Christina Hendricks

Harley Quinn-Kristen Bell,Zooey Deschanel,Marley Shelton,Reese Witherspoon or Christina Ricci

Talia-Eva Green

The Riddler-Hugh Laurie or Casey Affleck

Black Mask-Joaquin Phoenix or Josh Brolin

Hugo Strange-Brad Douriff

The Mad Hatter-Steve Bushemi

The Penguin-Bob Hoskins

Mr.Freeze-Daniel Craig

Vicki Vale-Scarlett Johansson

Silver St.Cloud- Charlize Theron(Shes probably too good for the role though)

Summer Gleason-Molly Ringwald(Hear me out. Yeah, shes not a big name anymore and shes a little older, but how aweosme would it be to have another Breakfast Club member as a reporter? Plus it wouldnt be a big role, the same as AMH's role)

Brad Dourif is a pretty cool choice for Hugo Strange. I'd be thrilled if he got any Batman character.

He's awesome, he would fit in perfectly for either Hugo Strange or Kirk Langstrum

:applaud:applaud:applaud lol. I've never read the argument displayed so eloquently. Good stuff.

Caine was never in Jaws 3D.

He was in Jaws 4 i think.

Anywayzzz.......my casting choices.

Joker-Paul Bettany/Jason Lee

Riddler-Guy Pearce

Catwoman-Michelle Monoghan/ Marion Cottilard

Penguin-PSH

Freeze-Jason Issacs

Black Mask-Josh Brolin

Mad Hatter-Andy Serkis

Zsaz-Jason Statham

Ivy-Christina Hendricks

Talia-Eva Green

Harley-Brittany Murphy/Christina Ricci

Zsaas was in Batman Begins, why recast him, he's not that big of a villian

I wouldnt care if they recast Zsass and try to do something with him but I dont see Nolan retreading him. Nolan and Goyer sound like they are leaning toward a villain not yet seen, and WB will push for one thats more popular (at least in comic circles)
